How difficult do you find it to launch ABM LinkedIn ads on scale of 1-10? 10 being extremely difficult. Now, onto today's insights... A friend who owns $1.6B in real estate told me that making business your top priority ironically hinders growth. Did a pod with Ken McElroy today at his Limitless event. 15 years ago, a group of successful entrepreneurs with families were surveyed on how happy they were with their lives. The average was a 9 out of 10 for the entrepreneurs. Their spouses? 6 out of 10. Not so good. Ken was asked by an older entrepreneur how he would prioritize the following 3: business, spouse, and kids. His response: - Business - Kids - Spouse The experienced founder said he had his priorities wrong. It should be: - Spouse - Kids - Business If the spouse is happy, that makes for a more aligned parenting dynamic. The kids are happy, the spouse is happy, and everyone's happy overall. If life at home is good, then there are less stressors. Fewer stressors mean that you'll bring your best self to work. Doing your best work means better business results. But if you focus on the business first, you might be having fun overall, but your family sure as hell won't be. Then you'll end up paying the price long term. Eric Siu :) Need A Free Marketing Plan?
