Why I Was Wrong About Short-Form Videos...                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 August 21, 2024 | [Read Online]( [fb]( [fb]( [fb]( [fb](mailto:?subject=Post%20from%20Leveling%20Up&body=6.4M%20Views%20in%20a%20Week%3F%20Here%E2%80%99s%20What%20Changed%20for%20Me%3A%20Why%20I%20Was%20Wrong%20About%20Short-Form%20Videos...%0A%0Ahttps%3A%2F%2Fnewsletter.levelingup.com%2Fp%2F64m-views-week-heres-changed) 👾Leveling Up 👾 I used to think short-form videos were useless for getting business. I've changed my stance on that recently -- in fact, I think organic socials as it relates to shortform content is one of the biggest opportunities today for reach. This past week, I had an IG Reel that got 6.4M views. Another one got 2.3M views. From that, I had a couple of executives/founders text me. Those moments of serendipity can lead to meetups, introductions, or different types of business opportunities. Being top of mind goes a long way. My marketing agency, Single Grain, gets its clients from all types of sources. Most of the time, people reach out when they're feeling the pain. But they often forget the sea of marketing agency owners they've met at events. But if they see an organic social post at the right moment and they know that person can solve their pain point, who do you think they're going to go to? I used to be against created TOFU short-form content, but I've warmed up to it and combine it with MOFU/BOFU short-form content.
