Plus: New Large Abstract Works by Jeff Cowen // Photography & Memory // 1960s Photos by the “Pop Art Nun”   %2F%2Fsendy.lensculture.com%2Fl%2Fec8TKQWgDxcUYXYTClOhcA%2FC763UU0MOgzaMvy3IdYwv51Q%2FmINWb8JTgLQD6c56q763IfQw/1/0101018f588aebe1-d1d8c326-6e9f-4be8-b437-e4f4f49333d3-000000/TJ0KluUxd1_xyLgh2pGQqVFrvQ8MPOIUVq8HUappqWw=352 TOP STORIES THIS WEEK Award-Winning Photographers Featured in New York Exhibition Our group show, LensCulture Discoveries: New York 2024, was a wonderful celebration of 64 award-winning photographers from 22 countries. We truly enjoyed meeting so many of these photographers in person, and engaging in meaningful conversations with the artists, collectors, media members, and art enthusiasts who came to see the exhibition. Taking place at the same time as The Photography Show by AIPAD and the New York Art Book Fair, our show highlighted the diverse talents of our international community of photographers on a prominent stage. One photographer represented in the New York group show, Arrayah Loynd, is also featured this week in LensCulture, with her work “and then you were gone.” Constructing an alternative to “photographic memory,” Loynd invites viewers to take a journey into her mind's eye. Also featured — Jeff Cowen’s darkroom abstractions on show in Berlin, and the legacy of Corita Kent. We hope you find some inspiration in this week's highlights! %2F%2Fsendy.lensculture.com%2Fl%2Fec8TKQWgDxcUYXYTClOhcA%2FNEhbGJsVD6BQQtRL7CPqHw%2FmINWb8JTgLQD6c56q763IfQw/1/0101018f588aebe1-d1d8c326-6e9f-4be8-b437-e4f4f49333d3-000000/jJZqP9gGNLE0N-crx_zMMGYgKdlX_sQyvV1MXofdKjE=352 FEATURE   LensCulture Discoveries 2024 — Pictures from the Exhibition in New York Some photo highlights from the excellent group show in New York, celebrating the work of 64 award-winning photographers from 22 countries.
