Horrendous: It’s not an exaggeration to say that both Matt Ryan and Russell Wilson played like they belonged in the USFL rather than the NFL. - Ryan completed 26-of-41 passes for 251 yards, 0 touchdowns, and 2 interceptions. - Wilson completed 21-of-39 passes for 274 yards, 0 touchdowns, and 2 interceptions. Ouch: Following the loss, the Denver Post ran an article titled: “How much do the Broncos have to pay Sean Payton to replace Nathaniel Hackett as coach?” - Denver’s offense — Hackett’s supposed specialty — was booed by the home crowd throughout the game and only converted 2-of-15 third downs (13%). IND Injuries: The Colts’ win came at a cost, as three starters left with potentially serious injuries — DE Kwity Paye (leg), RB Nyheim Hines (head), and C Ryan Kelly (hip). His status for Sunday’s game is in doubt.
