{NAME}, the January 6 hearings are clearly getting to Tucker Carlson. Last week, after Cassidy Hutchinson’s bombshell testimony, Tucker took it upon himself to defend the MANY far-right figures connected with the insurrection — going name by name through a LONG list of Trump allies who have been investigated in connection with January 6. But here’s the thing. Each time, he withheld key context or outright lied about these investigations in order to frame these GOP operatives as innocent victims of political persecution. And frankly, that’s terrifying — because that’s exactly the kind of misinformation that led to January 6. {NAME}, Tucker Carlson is not only spending his airtime trying to block accountability for people involved in January 6 — he’s also trying to make his viewers believe that conservatives like them are top targets for government persecution. Tucker, Fox News, and OAN have actively worked to radicalize their viewers — from spreading Trump’s Big Lie, to painting the insurrectionists as patriotic protestors. Now, they’re convincing conservatives they are under attack — and laying the groundwork to legitimize the next insurrection. This is a PRIME example of why far-right media like Fox is an existential threat to our democracy. That’s why we’re leading MASSIVE pressure campaigns to get corporate advertisers to DROP Fox and OAN. By choking off the funding they rely on, we can fight back against their misinformation campaigns and stop them from causing more chaos in the next election. [But {NAME}, with the midterms just around the corner, we need your help.
