Democrats across the country are ready to win in November. [Leaders We Deserve]( [I’ve set a goal to raise $10,000 from online donations before the gavel closes the convention on Thursday. Will you pitch in $5 or anything you can to help us elect young progressive leaders?]( [MAKE A DNC DONATION »]( {NAME}, it’s day two of the Democratic National Convention and I am SO SO PUMPED! 🇺🇸💙 This convention is a huge symbol of the momentum we are generating for the presidential ticket of Kamala Harris and Tim Walz across the nation. In the first 24 hours of the convention, I have met so many folks from all 50 delegations who are excited headed into November. But, they’re not just excited for Kamala and Tim, {NAME}. We’ve got historic candidates in pivotal races in so many places. In these races where excitement is at an all time high, the Harris-Walz ticket is going to ride the reverse coattails of these smaller races. Typically, down ballot candidates have looked to the big fish running for President to bring voters out to the ballot. Folks used to think that if a Democrat is voting for the president, they will surely submit a wholly Democratic ballot! But we saw the reverse come true in 2016, and we’re likely to see it again this year too. For example, Ashwin Ramaswami is running to be the first Gen Z Indian-American State Senator in Georgia – the youngest member to join the GA Senate. His campaign has energized the South Asian community in Georgia with folks submitting their ballots for the first time to support such a historic candidate. While these new voters are at the ballot, I’m sure they will also cast their vote for Kamala Harris – the soon-to-be first South Asian President. It takes just one call, text, mailer, email, etc. to convince someone to cast their ballot – and with your support, Ashwin’s campaign can continue to reach every undecided voter until election day. [Will you make a $5 contribution towards our $10,000 DNC goal to strengthen our resolve in ushering in a huge blue wave through our support of historic and young down ballot candidates like Ashwin Ramaswami?]( [Donate $5 »]( There is a HUGE blue wave that is set to hit our shores in November and will affect every race up and down the ballot. We’ve got to do everything in our power to welcome it with open arms!
