We need your support to protect the Earth. {NAME}, it’s getting hotter — and we have to do

We need your support to protect the Earth. [Leaders We Deserve]( {NAME}, it’s getting hotter — and we have to do something about it. Earlier this year, it was reported that 2023 was the hottest year since global records began in 1850. And it doesn’t stop there. 2024 is expected to rival 2023, and could potentially take its place as the hottest year on record. Our elected leaders are failing to address the climate crisis with meaningful solutions, so it’s time we put people who care in office. Leaders We Deserve endorses young leaders who understand the anxiety of not knowing if the planet will be inhabitable for our kids and will live to see it. We also endorse candidates who DO NOT take any corporate money, including fossil fuel companies. [Will you join the hundreds of folks who have already signed our petition demanding that our elected leaders enact meaningful solutions to the climate crisis? We’re building a movement they can’t ignore!]( [Sign the Petition](?source=em20240719-962&akid=962%2E87737%2Ee7MIFN) We’re nearing a point of no return, {NAME}. If we don’t take immediate and decisive action, the devastating impacts of climate change will become irreversible. This June marked 12 consecutive months of the global temperature being at or above 1.5C, the benchmark for avoiding the worst effects of climate change. We have a real issue on our hands. That’s why Leaders We Deserve is endorsing young leaders like climate activist Nate Douglas, who’s running in one of the most competitive state house races in Florida, and so many others passionate about finding meaningful solutions to the climate crisis. We’re not just talking about climate change — we’re working to make meaningful change happen. [{NAME}, our politicians have gotten too comfortable ignoring the climate crisis — and we’re putting an end to it. Sign our petition to support actual solutions to the climate crisis before it is too late!]( [Sign the Petition](?source=em20240719-962&akid=962%2E87737%2Ee7MIFN) Thank you for your support, David Hogg Co-founder, Leaders We Deserve --------------------------------------------------------------- [Donate »]( This email was sent to [{EMAIL}](#).
