To All New Launch School Students, We are happy to announce the return of the Smooth Start Program! This will be our final cohort of the year! If you have just begun your Launch School journey, starting out can be a little overwhelming. Smooth Start aims to start students on the right foot and set them up for their Core Curriculum journey. Over 4 weeks you’ll have access to your own private group of peers, and benefit from the following resources: - Guidance from an experienced Launch School lead: draw on the knowledge and helpful resources presented by Experienced Student Leads - Immersive weekly sessions: leads will organize live sessions to help with Launch School questions, study approaches, and any other concerns you may have - Get to know your Peers: you’ll be introduced to other students around the same level to help you form study buddies, share resources, and learn from each other’s experiences - AMA with a Launch School alumni software engineer: in week 4 you’ll participate in a Q & A with a guest alumni software engineer. Learn about their experiences through Launch School, Capstone and what it’s like on the job Groups will meet once a week via Zoom with the first group starting Monday, October 9th, 2023.
