[View this email in your browser]( Hello, A few weeks back, Launch School ran the [Introduction to Git & Github set of Workshops]( which attendees found immensely helpful: “Helped so much, git is really my weakness and this gave me confidence to go back and work more on it.” Due to popular demand, Launch School is happy to re-run the “Introduction to Git and Github” workshops again along with the following: - An Introduction to Arrays, Objects, Hashes & Working with Collections: Learn how to create and iterate over these collections using loops and methods in both Ruby and JavaScript If you weren’t able to participate last time, now is your chance to register for the upcoming workshops: Monday November 14th at 8pm US Eastern In this workshop Grace will introduce you to JavaScript Arrays and Objects, and show you how to iterate over collections using loops and methods. You'll also learn how methods work in JavaScript and how to chain them together for more concise code. [Register]( Thursday November 17th at 12pm US Eastern In this workshop Clare will introduce you to the important concept of version control, and how to install and use the essential programming tool Git for the first time. You'll also learn how to create a local repository, make commits, and stage and track file changes. [Register]( Friday November 18th at 12pm US Eastern In this workshop Trevor will show you the difference between Arrays and Hashes, and how to access, update and remove elements from these collections. You'll also learn some of the most common methods you'll need to iterate over Arrays and Hashes in Ruby.
