The scanner picked up some rare orders in healthcare name DaVita Inc. (NYSE: DVA). The dialysis stock tumbled nearly 20% last week after reports of Nordisk’s wonder drug Ozempik showed its ability to stop the progress of kidney disease in trials. DVA is on the move again this week with shares gap-filling more than 10% and the bulls are looking for a piece of the action. Calls were purchased for DVA, including November $85 and December $92.50 strike calls, amounting to a total around $700,000 in total premium! The November 85 calls saw a nice jump from about $2.35 to $3.10 since the purchase! We also saw flow in Nvidia Corp. (Nasdaq: NVDA) October $435 calls, which I thought were too pricey only to watch them pop about $4 a contract! I’ll be honest, that FOMO kicks like a mule — especially when order flow is this light. Hopefully markets shake this uncertainty and we have more active markets next week with large-cap tech companies reporting earnings.
