There’s nothing I want to hold more than a few days, and I don’t like buying any contracts that expire more than a month out, especially if they don’t catch earnings. Even Energy stocks — everyone’s favorite sector most of the year — have been getting smacked in the face. Financials? Also getting crushed, and that’s a scary sight with bank earnings coming up. In fact, a number of the big banks just hit 52-week lows. I mentioned earlier this week in my daily newsletter that this is a BIG red flag. This screams “RECESSION” to me. Meanwhile, the Federal Reserve is still trying to get inflation under control… and doing a terrible job of it. And if the long bond (TLT) keeps falling… WOOF. But amid the bad headlines is a stock — [and what I hope is the perfect way to trade it!]( — I’ve been talking a lot about recently… Tesla. CEO Elon Musk is polarizing, I know. And I don’t care… When it comes to stocks and trading, I’m here to make money. All the other stuff is just noise. And I LOVE Tesla — the company, the cars, the stock… I have a big chunk of change in TSLA in my retirement account, so this isn’t some marketing gimmick.
