We have you covered. [65afe517a2b86 image] Though much of the powdery snow in Lancaster County has been replaced with a combination of repeatedly plowed snow and ice, I'm still embracing the winter weather. This photo, from correspondent Connor Hollinger, shows two bison at the Old Springhouse Bison Farm in Manheim. It's a musical weekend in Lancaster County! 'Birnam Wood' I'm almost finished reading Eleanor Catton's most recent book, "Birnam Wood." (Hopefully I finish reading it before my book club's discussion!). At its root, it's about an New Zealand-based off-the-grid gardening group that deeply believes that it could fundamentally change how communities handle food production. But, of course it's a little messy -- especially when the head of the gardening club is in cahoots with a billionaire survivalist. Add some thriller elements, and some deep character studies, and you've got a book that's clever enough to hold my attention. Did we spot you? [65ac54103d141 image] Our photographers are always out and about. Did we see you? - A [mid-winter mead party]( at Meduseld Meadery.
