[66ad2a3a10233 image] In Ephrata Performing Arts Center's production of the musical "Cabaret," from left, Zach Haines as Cliff Bradshaw, Rachael Opdenaker as Sally Bowles, Rogan Motter as Ernst Ludwig and, top, Tell Williams IV as the Emcee try to keep the party going amid the rise of the Nazis in Berlin. (Photo credit to Sheri Niven Photography.) 'Cabaret' I saw "Cabaret" at the Ephrata Performing Arts Center last Saturday after many people whose opinions I respect suggested it was one of the best performances they've seen of the production. "Cabaret" focuses on a nightlife spot in Berlin, Germany, in 1929 and 1930, called the Kit Kat Club. It was a beautiful production, directed by Ben Galosi, who is still in college. I have to give a special shoutout to actor Rachael Opdenaker, who performed as Sally Bowles. It appears that she put her entire heart and soul into the role. From top to bottom, the production featured talented actors, clever costume styling and much more. Note: A more in-depth love letter of sorts to this production of "Cabaret" will publish online and in print Sunday. Did we spot you? [66b965ac443a9 image] Our photographers are always out and about.
