Here's the Scoop. [62dc618f0e2ac image] The Taste of Mount Joy Cruisin' Cuisine event is a car show that doubles as a tasting event. The event kind of resembles a street fair in this 2022 file photo. Washington Boro Tomato Festival When you eat your first bite of the juicy, sweet and surprisingly non-bitter taste of a fresh tomato at the Washington Boro Tomato Festival, it changes you. My partner and I first went to the festival last year, and we've sworn to go to any of the tomato festivals we can put in our schedule. We returned last Saturday and set up lawn chairs. Yacht rock band 3 Hour Tour performed while we ate beautiful, delicious BLTs, made with the best tomatoes I've ever eaten. I don't typically enjoy tomatoes. I order most sandwiches without tomatoes, though I have recently come around to cherry tomatoes in salads. It's worth mentioning that they also had Farm Show milkshakes, which will hold off my craving for them until January, 2025. ... Hopefully. Did we spot you?
