A screenshot of my current "Baldur's Gate" team, which features (from left), a warlock named Wyll, a vampire named Astarion, my player character Kayla and a barbarian named Karlach. 'Baldur's Gate 3' Those who know me know that I adore video games, and when I get started on one I like, it's hard for me to give it up and move on to something else. My latest video game binge is "Baldur's Gate 3," a somewhat open-world RPG (role-playing game) set in the world of "Dungeons & Dragons." I've sunk 218 hours into playing this game, between my solo save file and my collaborative file with one of my best friends, Meg. "Baldur's Gate" is probably as perfect as any video game can aspire to be, with plethora quests, dialogue options and game-changing choices to make. Fun fact: My fiance and I's relationship actually grew out of a "Dungeons & Dragons" campaign! In my solo game, I play a character that resembles me in appearance, and is named Kayla. She's a paladin, which means she's a person of high moral standing who is also quite deadly with a sword. I usually travel with Karlach, a fiery barbarian; Astarion, a sultry vampire who would benefit from therapy and Minsc, an oblivious ranger with a mouse companion named Boo. Did we spot you?
