We have you covered.     [65f76952134a5 image] The return of spring also means the return of fun pet-themed events (many of which raising funds for a good cause). I'm Mickayla Miller, a reporter at LNP|LancasterOnline. I spend hours every week combing through entertainment options to curate the best local weekend options for our readers. Whether you're looking for a night out on the town this weekend, or prefer a more laid-back experience, we have this week's highlights from Lancaster County's entertainment scene, plus what has me excited in the world of entertainment this week. Here's the Scoop. [641dfa14a01ca image] Zenkaikon returns this weekend with a larger gaming selection, and activities at both the Lancaster County Convention Center and the Holiday Inn. Here's what I'm loving. This work from Jay Echevarria was created in collaboration with their partner, Marissa. Photo credit to Jay Echevarria. Art by Jay Echevarria [Jay Echevarria]( is a self-taught artist based in Allentown that specializes in contemporary portraiture. The first time I saw Jay's art was when I went to EsoArts for the first time. (For the uninitiated, EsoArts is a space that highlights works from several dozen local and regional artists). I immediately took a photo of Jay's works and sent it to my friends, likely making some joke about spending my whole paycheck at this new place. Since then, I've been entranced with Jay's art. There's something so bizarrely uncomfortable, but also enthralling, about their works; they're colorful, but also a bit macabre. (I'm also partial to the works that they create with their partner, [Marissa]( which skew a bit cuter.) Did we spot you? [65fa2659c72a1 image] Our photographers are always out and about.
