These words can set the course for your life . . . Today I want to tell you about the “Father’s Blessing.” The Father’s Blessing is found throughout stories in the Old Testament and was always very powerful. [Lakewood Church]( The Blessing | Nurturing Friend, today I want to tell you about the “Father’s Blessing.” The Father’s Blessing is found throughout stories in the Old Testament and was always very powerful. The blessing determined inheritance, future, and destiny. When a father was full of years and about to pass away, he would call his children in, lay his hands on their heads, and speak loving, faith-filled words over them. These words would literally set the course for their lives. What’s holding some people back today is that they’ve never received a blessing. Maybe your father wasn’t around, or maybe you were raised by people who spoke negative things, telling you what you couldn’t do, or how you weren’t up to par. I realize I’m not your father, but I can pray and declare words that will impact your destiny for the good. And every month, I’m going to send you a new blessing. This will be something you can expect to receive, believe, and declare over your life. But first, it is time to let go of everything negative that was spoken over you. It’s time to release every word of doubt (every can’t do it, not good enough, not attractive, wrong family, limited talent). Get rid of it today by giving those words and memories to your Heavenly Father. Today, you can make the exchange from orphanhood to sonship and walk in the blessing that belongs to you.
