We're writing to let you know we're accepting applications again for a new season of [Check, Please! Bay Area Kids]( We're looking for articulate and passionate foodies between the ages of 10 and 14 years old to join our host Leslie Sbrocco at our studios. If you know a child who simply cannot stop gushing about the last meal they enjoyed at their prized local eatery, restaurant, cafe, diner, lunch cafe, hole-in-the-wall, food truck, etc.—send them our way! Today, casting officially opens today at [kqed.org/checkplease](. Slots are limited and applications will be accepted through September 30. In addition to completing an application, kids and their parent/guardian must be willing to travel to either San Jose or San Rafael for an in-person interview sometime in October, and must be available to travel to San Rafael for the taping of the shows in January. Kids and their parent/guardian must be able to travel to three eateries within a 50 mile radius of San Francisco. Please feel free to share this email with anyone who may be interested in applying.
