{NAME}, one year ago today, Politico published a draft of the Supreme Court decision that would overturn Roe v. Wade. Since the Dobbs decision came down, states have passed dozens of increasingly extreme laws to ban abortions with no exceptions. In Texas, they've made it a first-degree felony. In Idaho, they've banned interstate travel to seek abortion care. In the Senate, right-wing extremists have previously introduced a national ban. And now, there's a far-right campaign to ban access to the most commonly used abortion pill nationwide. I can still remember the anger and fear that filled the days following the leak. We knew that this ruling would trigger a wave of increasingly extreme laws restricting our reproductive freedoms. But what we didn't know was how Americans like you would rise to this moment. You got off the sidelines. You spoke out. You chipped in. You signed petitions. You organized. And on November 8, 2022, you defended our Senate majority, driving off a red wave and protecting reproductive rights up and down the ballot. I know that we face tough challenges and a long road to victory. But as long as people like you refuse to ever give up, we will win this fight. That's why I'm asking 50,000 Democrats to add their names before midnight tonight to support reproductive rights. [Please, {NAME}, will you add your name now? I'm counting on people like you to recommit to this fight as we head into another tough election cycle.]( [SIGN ON NOW]( With gratitude and hope for the future, Kirsten --------------------------------------------------------------- [Join Kirsten in the Fight to Defend the Senate. As Democrats face our toughest Senate map in decades, I need your help more than ever. While Republicans only have to defend 10 seats in 2024, Democrats have to defend 23 – and if the GOP flips just two of them, it will deliver Senate control back to Mitch McConnell. Now, Nate Silver’s FiveThirtyEight is saying that the GOP has a clear path to the majority. As right-wing special interests gear up to pour millions into flipping the Senate, we need to fight back right now. But I refuse to take a single cent from corporate PACs, which means I’m relying on your grassroots support. [So please, chip in to help defend our narrow Democratic Senate majority.]( And if you’d like to become a core member of my team and receive exclusive texts from my campaign, [text JOIN to 60708.]( Thank you, Kirsten Gillibrand This email was sent to {EMAIL}.
