{NAME}, whenever I meet with voters, the first thing I do is grab a pen, take out my notebook and open to a fresh page. Everything that voters share with me ends up in that notebook — their stories, their solutions to the problems facing our communities and their ideas for making our government work better. When I head back to Washington and get to work in the Senate, I don't forget the stories and solutions I've heard on the road. Instead, I open up my notebook and get to work. These notes help me draft legislation to tackle the issues that matter most. And they ensure that the solutions I put forward will actually work for the families who need them. Over the years, I've filled countless notebooks with these stories. And now, as 2023 gets into full swing, I've already made a dent in my newest notebook. But before I finalize my legislative priorities for the coming year, I need to hear from as many people as possible. [You're one of my most reliable supporters, so I'm really hoping to have your input here: Please, will you take a moment to respond to my March Priorities Focus Group before it closes at midnight tonight? Here is your personal link:]( [( [Join the Focus Group]( Families know better than any Washington consultant what issues are facing our country — and more often than not they have a good idea for how to fix things. My job is to listen to voters, hear their solutions and make them happen. These notes help me do that job better. Stories in my notebook inspired legislation to stop gun trafficking, reform how our military handles sexual assault cases, expand benefits for veterans and so much more. As a public servant, there's no higher honor than being entrusted with a voter's story — and there's no greater victory than winning the change that voter needed. As we head into a new year, there already are so many issues filling the pages of my new notebook — ensuring affordable day care, winning family leave, supporting our seniors, making health care affordable and more. [But I want to make sure that I hear from you too, {NAME}. So please, will you take moment to join to my live focus group now? Here's your personal link again:]( [( Thank you for taking a moment to share what issues are on your mind. I'm eager to read your responses and get to work on the issues that matter to you. Text NY to 60708]( A note from Kirsten: {NAME}, I can’t thank you enough for standing by my side in the critical fights ahead of us. As Democrats face our toughest Senate map in decades, I need your help more than ever. While Republicans only have to defend 10 seats in 2024, Democrats have to defend 23 – and if the GOP flips just two of them, it will deliver Senate control back to Mitch McConnell. Now, Nate Silver’s FiveThirtyEight is saying that the GOP has a clear path to the majority. As right-wing special interests gear up to pour millions into flipping the Senate, we need to fight back right now. But I refuse to take a single cent from corporate PACs, which means I’m relying on your grassroots support. [So please, chip in to help defend our narrow Democratic Senate majority.]( And if you’d like to become a core member of my team and receive exclusive texts from my campaign, [text JOIN to 60708.]( Thank you, Kirsten Gillibrand This email was sent to {EMAIL}.
