Hi! It’s Helene, Kirsten’s daughter. Since it’s Mother’s Day, I wanted to brag about my mom a little bit. I have the best mom. Not only is she a wonderful, loving parent — but she’s also been fighting to build a better future for me since I was little. As an environmental lawyer, my mom took on big polluters and fossil fuel companies to fight for clean air and water and combat the climate crisis. When she saw how Republicans' budget cuts were hurting Arizona’s public schools — including my school — she ran for office. In the Arizona legislature, she fought for Arizona’s water security, criminal justice reform, and public education. And now, my mom is running for Congress to make an even bigger impact. I have fewer reproductive rights in Arizona now than my mom had at my age. I know how angry that makes her (and me), and I know she won’t stop fighting until we reverse the damage that’s been done. This Mother’s Day, I told my mom to take the day off of fundraising — and that I would reach out to her supporters instead. [This race is so competitive that we can’t miss a day. That’s why I have to ask: will you help my mom flip AZ-06 blue and take back the House by chipping in now?]( If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:   [DONATE $5]( [DONATE $10](     [DONATE $25]( [DONATE $50](     [DONATE $100]( [DONATE OTHER](   [DONATE $5]( [DONATE $10]( [DONATE $25]( [DONATE $50]( [DONATE $100]( [DONATE OTHER]( Thank you so much! Helene   Kirsten is a mom, an environmental attorney, and a former State Legislator who has spent the past six years fighting to restore funding to public schools, protect Arizona's natural resources, and make our communities safer. She’s ready to take that fight to Washington to find common-sense solutions to the challenges we’re facing here in Arizona's Sixth Congressional District. In 2022, Kirsten lost her race by one of the smallest margins in the country.
