AUGUST 14, 2020 [View in browser]( WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE CORONAVIRUS OUTBREAK The U.S. COVID-19 infection rate showed further improvement this week at 53,153 daily new cases over the past seven days, down from 63,240 at the end of July. Ariz. has achieved the most progress, bringing its seven-day average of 2,530 daily new cases down to 1,021. Other states showing definite improvement include Ala., Fla., La., N.C., Nev., Okla., S.C., Tex. and Utah.
