What's up 1%-ers! (For anyone new to this "super-fans-only" email, this is a special broadcast ONLY sent to the most engaged subscribers on my list. Thank you for reading!) Amanda and I just got back from a weekend of "off-the-grid" excursions around Idaho. Every time, we've ended one of our events this year, we've made a tradition of throwing our phones in a drawer, shutting down our computers, and getting some crisp, fresh outdoor time. If you've read any of [my posts on dopamine detoxing]( you know why I think this is SUPER critical for your mood, mindset and overall health. This weekend, we hit up a winery DEEP in the Idaho foothills and discovered a brand new "secret trail" along Snake River. At one point, it was just us and a beaver chilling by the water 😂 . It was fun and refreshing. And more importantly: Now that we're back and The Black Friday Summit is behind us, I'm finally ready to make one of three big announcements before the end of the year. The first — which you've probably heard me allude to several times already — is related to the cold email course I've been tinkering with and testing for the better part of the last 8 months. Just being real: This has been a beast of a program for me to grapple with. Not just because there's so much I have to say on the subject and so much I want to share about what cold email can do for you. But also because this has been my most requested topic ... of all time. And yes - that includes anything Klaviyo related by a factor of 10x! So you could say the pressure is on 😅. But I can handle the heat. Because as I've I started to map it all out and explore all the content I want to give you, I finally have a structure for what I believe will be the best resource for you I've created. In my life. Of course, I know you need to "see it" before you can believe a grand statement like that. But don't worry. There will be plenty of that in due time. For now though, I thought it would be fun to give 1%-ers a first-glimpse of the name of the program. Because let's be honest... The way I've been referring to it so far has been a little ... underwhelming to say the least. I think at one point I was just saying, "Cold Email Course" And I'm supposed to be a "copywriter"? 👎 👎 👎 Can anyone say "Boooooring!" LOL. But I finally have a name... I'm calling it... (Before you read it, help me out with my showmanship by imagine you see me pulling a giant curtain down to unveil the name. Got the visual? Okay now read...) The Great Equalizer. Probably not what you expected for a course with this subject matter, huh? But this name has a lot of meaning to me personally. Because this one skill has completely leveled the playing field for me in life. As a 1%-er you probably know this, but I grew up in a SUPER tiny town in Tennessee with no idea what "copywriting" was. My mom had me when she was in high school and didn't have two nickels to rub together. In fact, we were so poor for most of my childhood that it was "normal" for my dad to have to hide his car at my uncle's house because he lived in fear that it would get repossessed from being so late on payments. And yet, I was able to get out, land some of the most prestigious clients in the world and make connections with true legends of all kinds of industries. Undoubtedly, it took luck and skill (and working hard). But it really all comes back to one skill for me: The ability to send messages to people and get the response I want. It's what got me started as a copywriter and it's the skill I still rely on to this day. And this is what I want to give to you. The Great Equalizer in life. I don't want to spoil everything so I'll bite my tongue for now. But if you've been waiting for the release ... or want to follow along with how I launch it, feel free to reply and let me know what you're most excited about. This one should be a lot of fun. Rob "The Great Equalizer" Allen P.S. Sorry about the massive cliff hanger on the other 2 big announcements. I realized I said that and then gave absolutely ZERO hint what those are. But rest assured, as 1%-er, you'll be one of the first to know when that news comes out, too. Appreciate you reading! Are we connected on Twitter?
