If you've ever wanted a chance to put your copywriting skills on public display, get showered in praise, and potentially win a sweet cash prize, read on... This weekend, Amanda and I were chatting about some fun, last-minute ideas to get folks excited about The Black Friday Summit. When all the sudden, we stumbled upon one little noodle of an idea that practically dropped me to my knees. A sales email challenge with a cash prize. That's right. We're giving anyone who's registered for The Black Friday Summit, the chance to write a "sales email" promoting the event, win $250 and get publicly crowned as The 2022 BFCM Summit Sales Email Champion. Got a nice ring to it doesn't? And come to think of it, it sounds even better with your name right behind it doesn't it? {{ first_name|default:'' }, The 2022 BFCM Summit Sales Email Champion. I could get behind that! Well... If you're interested in making that *official*, here's how to enter: Step 1: You must be registered for The Black Friday Summit. Live ticket passes are free. So there's no weird MLM-like purchase required to enter this competition. All you need is a free ticket cross the first hurdle off your to-do list. And that pass will come in handy anyway for the next step, which is... Step 2: Write a "sales email" promoting the event. You said you were into copywriting didn't you? Well let's find out how much you mean it :) Because we're asking you "flex" your copy skills and write an email selling people on WHY they should come watch this live, free event on Oct 3-5. Now it's COMPLETELY up to you how you do it. You can mention as many facts about the event that you want ... Like the 30+ experts. The 20+ live sessions. The fact that it's FREE to watch. Or you can go straight for an emotional gut punch. It's your sales copy. You can write it however you want. Short or long. Hard-selling or major curiosity. All that's required is that the thing you're "selling" is A Black Friday Summit Ticket. We will evaluate it for the most likely to convert on the ideal audience for the event. With extra "points" given for creativity and writing style. And once you're done writing, you're ready for the final step... Step 3: Submit your copy for entry before THIS Friday, September 30th at 11:59 pm PST. You got a few options for how to do this. 1) You can either grab a readable screenshot of your sales copy and tag me (@robwritescopy) and Amanda (@_agambill) on Twitter when you share it. Or... 2) You can post your copy in a public post on LinkedIn. Just tag one of us so we can see it! Or... 3) If you're not on Twitter or LinkedIn, you can enter the old fashioned way by sending an email to me (robert@kingsofconversion.com) with the subject line "Sales Email Challenge Entry" with your copy inside. And then I'll share a screenshot of it. From there, Amanda and I will go over the submissions. We will evaluate them for the most likely to convert on the ideal audience for the event. With extra "points" given for creativity and writing style. Then, we'll crown the winner during the kickoff session of The Black Friday Summit next week and get you your moolah. And in addition to winning a cool cash prize, this is a fun way to get featured in front of hundreds of people (other copywriters and potential clients. Ding! Ding!) as a sales email expert. So if you're interested in participating, make sure you've got a ticket to The Black Friday Summit and get to work on your submission ASAP! I have no idea how many entries we'll get. But as of now, there's zero. So your chances are quite ... well AMAZING. And early movers definitely get an advantage. Because those that come later might sound like copy cats. So what are you waiting for? Get a move on: []( Rob "Should I enter under my middle name?" Allen P.S. If you want to "study up" on how Amanda and I react to copy, this video on "[I paid Fiverr copywriters to write sales emails for my course and well...]( does a pretty good job of showing you what we will definitely NOT be looking for.
