Right now, I'm supposed to be interviewing a candidate for a new role I'm hiring for... But ... This person COMPLETELY ghosted me. I mean no call, no show, no nothing. 😱 And well... Since I had the whole hour booked off for this chat that is clearly no longer happening, I decided whip up something fun for you instead. Enjoy this quick James Clear-inspired 3, 2, 1 round up of: - 3 cool reader stories I can't get enough of - 2 fun projects I'm working on (and how you can help shape them) - And 1 of the wildest collections of videos I've ever seen (from the one of the best storytellers I know) 3 cool reader stories I can't get enough of I. Hannah M. doubles her "per blog rate" and now has a "DOPE retainer agreement at $3280/mo" using 100% FREE advice. A couple weeks back, I offered readers in my 1% club the chance to "Ask Me Anything" for a day. I ended up spending over 8 hours answering over 250+ questions and writing north of 35,000 words in my replies. Hannah was one of the people who didn't just ask me a question. She actually followed through on my advice. And now she doubled her rates and has a blueprint for how to do this OVER and OVER again (see above for what she did). I love it. And that's one reason I was so pumped to do an AMA like that. To see the advice she got (along with DOZENS and DOZENS of other tips), don't forget to download my [129-page ebook]( full of the answers to almost all the questions I got that day. To date, that ebook been downloaded over 3,118 times! So clearly something about it is useful to people :) And by the way, based on the success of this little ebook I put together, I'll probably do another one of these AMAs in the fall of this year. Once again, it'll probably be reserved exclusively for my 1% club. So if you want to participate, make sure you keep reading and opening my emails :) II. John Prince blows his client's mind by creating a 99K/month welcome series from scratch (w/credit to my Klaviyo bootcamp) I loved seeing this breakdown of how my reader, student, and internet pal, John Prince, landed a client, sold his services, and absolutely CRUSHED it for his client. He ended up creating a series of emails that's generating almost 100k per month! All by using a simple, repeatable process for creating welcome flows that converts off the charts. [See how he did it (and you can learn a trick or two of your own) here](. III. Emanuele survives a "content barrage" and then buys every single product I have to offer (seriously) On Tuesday, May 31, at 12:31 pm, I got this email from a new reader out of the blue: And then, 2 hours later I get these notifications: This makes me so freaking happy. Not just because of the sales (although those are nice 😉). But because of the insanely cool power of publishing content online. Consider this: A challenge I did over a year ago... - provided enormous value to someone I'd never met - that person joined my email list - got even more cool stuff - then, discovered products designed to help them exactly where they are right now - and now, because I thought his email style was fun, we have cool back and forth email chain going as internet friends. And this kind of thing happens almost every week from Twitter, YT, interviews I've done. The lesson: We all need to be publishing more (myself included!!). Which actually is the perfect segue into my next couple updates... 2 fun new projects I'm working on I. After A LOT of arm-twisting, I'm launching my first-ever Cold Email Bootcamp! The deets: A few weeks back, I got approached by the co-founder of Seth Godin's altMBA school. Turns out, this person (Wes) was a huuuuge fan of my work (I know, I was shocked, too). And she wanted to work with me to create a live, cohort-based class. At first I was resistant because I felt like most of my cold email strategies are out there (on my blog, on Twitter, and on YouTube) for free. But then, we started talking about some cool things we could do with the format of the class. Fun insights she'd learned in working with Seth. And she even showed me how I could teach several things I've never talked about publicly. And by the end, even I started to get excited the class! So I decided to pull the trigger and will be working to release the first-ever (and possibly only) live group soon. If you'd like to jump on the waitlist for the 1st group (and get a fat 50% discount on the launch), you can [do that here](. NOTE: There will be a limited number of seats in this class. I've yet to decide on the number just yet. But I did send this form out to my 1%-ers club earlier this week and already had over 100 people apply. So if you plan on doing it with me, make sure you're on that list^^. No doubt, it will sell out fast. But anyone on that list will get first dibs! II. I'm kicking off a new series of challenges this summer (and would love your input)! The deets: If you remember, last year, I hosted a [30 Day Freelance Copywriting Challenge](... ...Where I compared what it was like to get clients via Cold Email and Upwork. To date, that series is still one of my most popular pieces of content (with more than 40,000 views on all the videos in the series!). And well... candidly, I want to do even more challenges like that. So I'm bringing them back in a new series I'm calling Results May Vary. Where I'm going to try all kinds of ridiculous stunts in copywriting and marketing and document it all for you. I sent out a poll to my 1% club earlier this week, and, so far, here's the top 3 most popular challenges people want to see... 1. A Cold Email Challenge - 143 Votes Where I don't just try to get clients. But instead, where I try to get in touch with a SUPER famous person using ONLY cold email. 2. A Twitter Growth Challenge - 113 Votes Where I trying to get an insane amount of followers in 30 days with ONLY organic traffic 3. A Fiverr Challenge - 81 Votes Where I see how much money I can make in X days as a Fiverr beginner as a copywriter (or in a random niche) If you're excited about any of these or if you have another idea like this you'd like to see me test out... ...Hit reply and let me know! Super excited to get started on these! 1 of the wildest collections of videos I've ever seen A few weeks ago, I stumbled onto Nathan Baugh's content on world building. And I've been hooked ever since. He's probably one of the top 3 storytellers I've ever come across. But this tweet he posted had nothing to do with any of that. It was just one of the craziest collections of mind-blowing videos I've ever seen. And I thought it was a fun Friday share. If you want to see something way cooler than you're probably expecting, [check it out here](. That golf one with the drone is so crazy to me. Anyway, enjoy your weekend! I'll catch you next week! Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
