I just read a hilarious story about a copywriter that increased their fee by almost 40% ... ...ENTIR

I just read a hilarious story about a copywriter that increased their fee by almost 40% ... ...ENTIRELY ON ACCIDENT. How did it happen? According to the story, the copywriter was talking to a potential client in the U.K. And the copywriter lives in the U.S. Of course, that means two totally different time zones. But it also means two totally different currencies. Turns out, when the copywriter was discussing the project fee with this client, they never clarified which currency they were talking in. They just said things like, "I can do it for 2K" or "does two thousand sound okay?" But they never mentioned the word DOLLARS. Why does that matter? The U.K. prospect assumed everything was being communicated in their local currency ... POUNDS. And ultimately the client agreed to pay the full 2k for the project. That's important because £1 actually equals $1.39 And that the project the freelancer THOUGHT was going to pay them 2,000 DOLLARS ... ...was actually going to pay them 2,000 POUNDS. Which is more like $2,779.68. In other words, they got an instant pay raise of almost $800 just by taking payment in another currency. When the freelancer got this payment, they were FLOORED to find this out (and even offered to pay back a portion of the project). But the client insisted it was fine. Now I don't know how true this story is, but I do know it contains a powerful lesson: Charging more is as simple as arbitraging currencies. And with that, I'm proud to introduce you to my new Forex Trading system, The Elite Freelance Forexer. It's the only proven system for increasing your freelance copywriting fees by simply charging in pounds instead of dollars. In this single-step program, you'll discover how turn dollar signs into pound signs ... ...And collect fatter checks every time you make this shift. Click here to be the first to own it. . . . . . . . . . . I'M KIDDING! That's not a real link. And I will never be a forex program peddler. But this story does actually teach a valuable lesson. Sometimes charging more is as simple as confidently asking for a higher fee. This freelancer was EXTREMELY comfortable quoting 2,000 DOLLARS so they never second guessed themselves. But the second, it turned to pounds and they were getting paid 40% more, they had all these limiting beliefs pop up. When in reality, their skill was there the whole time. All they had to do was ask. Of course, I would hope you would do it more systematically than this freelancer who just stumbled into a higher rate by accident. But notice the belief shift that happens once you see you can ask for a higher fee and clients happily pay for it. They'll probably never cut their rate to a lower fee again. (note: if you'd like help charging higher fees for your work, this is something I teach you how to do inside my [Freelance Freedom Bundle]( By the way, if you've ever had thoughts like: - "The client won't pay that much!" - "There's NO way I'm worth that." - "What if they do say yes to a higher fee and they end up thinking I suck and want their money back!?" Realize, these beliefs are NOT often rooted in reality. They're often rooted in beliefs you get around money since child hood. I know because I grew up with a lot of bad beliefs around money.
