... is planning what we’re going to eat [Free Shipping on Orders $99+ Ends Tonight]( [logo]( Sunday Recipe Inspiration Batch 523 [Gingerbread Cinnamon Rolls with Cream Cheese Frosting ]( Jessica Battilana Staff Editor My family has a lot of holiday traditions. We cut a tall, spindly tree from the same farm every year, and set it up in the same corner of the house. We open chocolate advent calendars each morning in December, and join our friends for duck fat-fried latkes during their Hanukkah celebrations. But the tradition I look forward to most is holiday meal planning. It's a treat to think about what special things I'll make for all of the festive events of the season, and it's the one area where I abandon tradition: It's never the same meal twice. This year, I know for certain I'll be making our new recipe for [Gingerbread Cinnamon Rolls]( (above) for Christmas morning. The dough and swirl feature the all-stars of the holiday spice line-up: [cinnamon](, [nutmeg](, and [allspice](, and the (literal) icing on the cake is a cream cheese icing that's a sweet and tangy foil to the tender rolls. At least, I think that's the recipe I'll be making. Because there's also this spectacular [Pistachio Cranberry Wreath]( vying for my attention. The tender dough is filled with pistachio paste and studded with tart cranberries; it's festive and fabulous. Or, wait, hold on, maybe Erin Jeanne McDowell's [maple brioche buns]( are the move?! The magnificently buttery pull-apart buns are flavored with [maple sugar](; [watch Erin make them in this video](, then mix up your own batch. But that just covers breakfast. What about all the other feasts of the season? At least one of them will feature homemade [Cacio e Pepe Clover Rolls](, which are enriched with salty pecorino Romano and thrum with heat from black pepper. I 've got to flex my sourdough skills for guests at least once this month (if you've got it, flaunt it!), and this new recipe for [Pumpkin-Sunflower Harvest Bread]( is a very elegant way to do so. I've got to make at least one cheesy bread for our annual holiday party (I mean, who among us isn't rendered powerless in the face of [molten brie surrounded by bite-size buns](?!). And I don't need to wait for a special meal to make Tara O'Brady's recipe for stack of ghee-slicked, [paneer-stuffed flatbreads](, or a [focaccia that is crusted in potato hashbrowns](, which form a crispy crust around the pillowy bread: those recipes are great anytime. I'm sure you're making your own lists this month, enjoying your own time-honored traditions. But there's always room for something new at the table. With that in mind, check out all [nine recipes for festive holiday breads](.
