{NAME}, I wanted to reach out before the results come in, and the hot takes and think-pieces take over social media, and just say: thank you. What we did in CA-03 this election is huge. We built a movement of 1,000 volunteers who knocked more than 150,000 doors — supported by the grassroots donations of over 17,500 donors. At the start of this campaign, pundits said we didn’t stand a chance. But we outperformed all expectations and ended up being named one of the campaigns most likely to flip a red seat blue this year. To the staff who put in hours far beyond the regular 9 to 5 and the volunteers who made the office feel like home, to the neighbors who hosted meet and greets and the college interns who taught me how to do TikTok dances, I want to reiterate how blessed I am to have you on Team Kermit.
