Couch, 32, who is wanted in connection with a mass shooting on Interstate 75 in Kentucky, continues. Couch has been charged with five counts of attempted murder and five counts of first-degree assault. The shooting, which occurred Saturday evening, left five people seriously injured and affected up to 12 vehicles, with reports indicating as many as 20 to 30 rounds were fired. Authorities describe Couch as âarmed and dangerousâ and have found an AR-15 and ammunition near his vehicle at the scene. He is believed to have fired from multiple locations along a ridge overlooking the highway. The investigation, now led by Kentucky State Police, is ongoing, with potential additional charges for property damage and wanton endangerment. Couch legally purchased the AR-15 and around 1,000 rounds earlier that day and had a clean record with no prior felonies.
