Senator Tim Scott here. Suspending my campaign for president was one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever made. I prayed about it (a lot). I discussed it with my family and staff. Ultimately, I decided that’s what was in the best interest of the country. [But if you know anything about me, you know I’m not one to dwell on the past. So I’m VERY excited about the road ahead. Joe Biden and the Radical Left Democrats are steering our country off a cliff. Our border, our economy, our schools, the integrity of our elections, the safety of our streets – everything the Left touches becomes a crisis. If they win the next election, the consequences would be unimaginable. That means we have our work cut out for us: 1) Defeat Joe Biden and take back the White House 2) Save our Conservative House Majority 3) Fire Chuck Schumer by flipping the U.S. Senate [Unfortunately, that’s easier said than done.]( The Democrats are mobilizing earlier than ever before, they’re already knocking on doors in battleground states, they’re already running vicious attack ads against Conservatives in key races, and they’re outraising us to the tune of fifty million bucks heading into an election year! That last point is the most important. We’re building the largest GOP voter-turnout operation in American history and we aren’t taking their attacks lying down – we’re fighting back. But if we can’t keep up on the fundraising front, our accounts will dry up in no time and the Democrats will have FREE REIN to pummel our Conservative candidates with false and misleading attack ads. In other words, we’d be defenseless. [Frankly, that’s not an option – not if we want to win! This election will be ultra-competitive and it’ll take all of us stepping up RIGHT NOW to come out on top.]( That’s why I’m teaming up with Majority Leader Steve Scalise for the FIRST TIME since suspending my bid for the White House. We are 100% in agreement that Republicans need to pick up the pace in fundraising… It’s the only way to catch up to the Democrats and WIN. We crunched the numbers and if everyone reading this email pitched in ten or twenty bucks, we’d refill our tank and have JUST ENOUGH to fund our voter contact programs, maximize our Get-Out-The-Vote budgets, and keep our ads on the airwaves.
