This is what has my full attention… [Katusa Research] Editor’s Note: Marin Katusa and the Special Situations Team will be releasing a report Monday morning (Feb 12th) before market open on a new, exciting opportunity in the royalty sector. A couple of weeks ago, I spent a day in the boardroom with the CEO of a gold company. This gentleman is one of the most respected people in precious metals, full stop. With his first major executive position, he helped build 6 mines in 3 years. He then led one of the largest gold producers in the world, and presided over the largest gold merger in history at $32 billion. And he’s now forging his own venture that any investor can be a part of. When he called to get in touch, I cleared my schedule. We talked about cash flow, growth, and all things royalty sector. I left the conversation with a lot of interest in the company. I dug into researching the company and got more excited the more I read: “Analyst consensus estimates are forecasting potentially 60% compounded annual growth in revenue right through the end of the decade based on projections. You're not going to find that potential growth from the likes of Franco-Nevada, as good and stable as they are. You're going to get that potential upside from the smaller, less established, companies in the royalty space.” I have personally invested over $1,000,000 in this company as of now. This CEO’s team quietly acquired a portfolio of 21 royalties in one of the best locations in the world – Quebec. And now commands a portfolio with over 240 royalties across exploration, development stage, and cash-flowing assets. In my entire career, I have never seen a management team execute this fast and with this much precision and consistency month in and month out. In less than 3 years, this team has increased the number of royalties in their portfolio by nearly 14 times. They are a royalty commando team… The company executed a merger with two other companies that catapulted them to the seventh-largest gold royalty company in the world at the time. One of those companies comes with a royalty on a portion of one of Canada’s largest producing gold mines. By itself, this royalty is expected to provide steady cash flows for the next couple of decades if the operator meets its disclosed operating plans. Here are two key potential catalysts for growth I see… First – the company currently trades significantly below analyst consensus net asset values. There is a potential opportunity here based on the company closing down this value gap. The second catalyst is the increased cash flows potentially coming from the company's existing royalty interests. It holds royalties on mines that are ramping up. If operators stick to disclosed plans, there should be increases in cash flow coming for this company in the near future. In addition, the company has demonstrated a track record for growth. If this continues, and its cash flows grow, it will be a a bigger company, which usually means better access to financing, which means it can get bigger, faster. And for investors, there is usually a lot more leverage for your capital in a smaller, up-and-coming royalty company than in one of the Big Three. And I don't think company management is nowhere near done with their business plan. Great management and embedded growth potential - This merits close attention in my opinion! This stock does not need a surge in the price of gold. This is what has my full attention… The company expects to increase its cash flow in 2024 due to existing royalties on mines that are nearing completion. And analysts consensus potential revenue growth rate over the next two years surpasses even those of some of your favourite tech stocks you read about in the news every day. So, pay attention to your inbox first thing tomorrow morning before the market opens, and be ready to do your own research into this exciting opportunity. Regards, Marin Katusa P.S. As usual, I urge you to do your own research and review this company thoroughly, including reviewing its filings. I will give you the details tomorrow so you can do so.
