You may have seen her on TV, because on Monday she had her first ever first televised debate. [Katie Porter for Senate]( Hey, it's Paul. My mom is Katie Porter, and she’s had a busy week! You may have seen her on TV, because on Monday she had her first ever televised debate. I think she did awesome!! Our campaign ads are also now running in the Los Angeles TV media market, which means we also see them at our house here in Orange County. These last few weeks before an election are always the craziest time for my mom. I know the drill, because we’ve been through this before. In 2018, my mom had both a competitive primary and a competitive general election. It was her first time running for office, and those were some tough races, but she pulled through and won, flipping a Republican held seat blue! I know my mom can pull off this one too. But she’s always talking about how it’s not just her doing the work, it’s really a whole army of supporters and volunteers who get the job done. Even though the debate is over, my mom is still busy talking with voters. She was at campaign events in LA yesterday, and later this week she’s going to the Bay Area. So I thought I could help her out by writing one of these emails. I know she’ll be so excited if I tell her this email raised more than the normal ones. [Can you help us out?]( [Donate ›››]( Thanks!! Paul Katie is running for the U.S. Senate because Californians deserve a warrior fighting for them in Washington. Our campaign is people-powered, we don’t take a dime from corporate PACs, federal lobbyists, or executives from Big Oil or Big Pharma.
