Thatâs to be expected, but around this time, things should be picking back up. Hereâs the truth: grassroots fundraising is down for Democrats across the country. I get it, you probably get a lot of these emails, and itâs easy to wonder if $5 makes a difference. For our campaign, it does. Our average contribution this quarter is $22.14 and 99% of our donations are of $100 or less. I donât take a dime from corporate PACs, federal lobbyists, or Big Oil, Big Pharma, or Big Bank CEOs. But weâre up against opponents who have spent decades in power banking these checks. We need to ramp up our fundraising so we can run the robust campaign weâll need to win.
