In the News [Donald Trump]( Getty Images Survey Says... Former President Trump is in the midst of several ongoing legal battles as he fights the 91 felony charges levied against him. But, with the election inching closer, what would Americans say if the current Republican frontrunner is found guilty? Well, a new poll from Yahoo News/YouGov found that a slim majority of voters think a conviction would be fair if heâs found guilty of a serious crime â but as you might be able to guess, results are split along party lines. Oral arguments in [the Supreme Court appeal]( kick off next week. An unprecedented crime: An ex-CIA hacker who was convicted of carrying out the biggest data breach in the agencyâs history has been sentenced to 40 years in prison. Joshua Adam Schulte's transmission of classified information to WikiLeaks âimmediately and profoundly damaged the CIA's ability to collect foreign intelligence against America's adversaries; placed CIA personnel, programs, and assets directly at risk; and cost the CIA hundreds of millions of dollars," the Department of Justice said. Israel-Hamas war: Diplomats are awaiting a response from Hamas regarding a potential hostage deal. President Biden has issued an executive order targeting Israeli settlers in the West Bank who have "perpetrated violence,â leading to the "forced displacement of Palestinian communities." The first round of sanctions under that order was issued on four Israelis yesterday. Meanwhile, the main United Nations relief agency in Gaza says it may have to shut down by the end of the month if funding from nearly 20 contributing countries is not resumed. Plane crash: Several people are dead after a small plane crashed in a mobile home park in Clearwater, Florida yesterday evening. The exact number of fatalities isn't yet known, but the fire chief said that he could confirm some visually, "both from the aircraft and within the mobile home." The crash mainly impacted one home, though others nearby received fire damage as well. According to the FAA, the pilot had reported an engine failure before the crash.
