Trump is off the ballot in Colorado. [For the best experience, read in browser.]( December 20, 2023 Good morning. Then, more on [the threat AI could pose to the 2024 election,]( plus [the controversial immigration bill]( Texas Gov. Greg Abbott just signed. (Getty Images) Off the Ballot In a stunning ruling, the Colorado Supreme Court removed Donald Trump from the presidential primary ballot, reversing a lower court’s decision. Senate Bill 4 seeks to upend current laws, ending America's long-held asylum policy and fully criminalizing illegal border entry — and that's not even the half of it. The ACLU has already filed a lawsuit against the bill, and the president of Mexico is threatening to follow suit. Here's [an explainer on SB 4 and the challenges against it](. Rather than focusing on healing physically and emotionally, she was arrested and charged with a felony,” her attorney told CNN. Doubling down: Donald Trump is standing by his claim at the weekend that immigrants are “poisoning the blood of our country." Speaking at a campaign event in Iowa on Tuesday, he said that people crossing the border illegally are "destroying the blood of our country.” Responding to comparisons between his remarks and the rhetoric of Adolf Hitler, Trump said he's "never read Mein Kampf," and that Hitler said those things "in a much different way."   A Closer Look Thousands of families in Ukraine are dealing with unimaginable heartbreak this holiday season.
