We’ve also got the scoop on [Barbra Streisand’s rumored feud with Judy Garland](, our [Golden Bachelor recap](, and [an exclusive interview with the woman eliminated](. Read on!   In the News [Donald Trump]( Getty Images Legal Loophole? Could Donald Trump's name be banished from the presidential ballot? A batch of lawsuits aims to do just that, using [a little-known Civil War-era clause]( to make the case for keeping him out of elections at the state level. Let's take a closer look: What’s going on? It stems from Section 3 of the 14th Amendment, which bars anyone from holding public office if they engage in "insurrection or rebellion” while under oath "as an officer of the United States to support the Constitution." Manchin looking down ]( Getty Images Bowing out: Sen. Joe Manchin of West Virginia has announced he won't seek reelection in 2024. “After months of deliberation and long conversation with my family, I believe, in my heart of hearts, that I have accomplished what I set out to do for West Virginia,” he said. The Democrat's withdrawal is good news for Republicans, whose path to control the red state where Manchin has defied the odds for years by keeping the seat now looks significantly easier. Israel-Hamas war: Israel has agreed to "tactical localized pauses" in fighting for four hours every day to allow people in northern Gaza to travel south for aid. Senior U.S. officials meanwhile have warned that the longer Israeli forces remain in Gaza, the more anger will spread across the region. Gen. Charles Q. Brown Jr., the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, expressed worry this week that civilian casualties could generate future Hamas militants. Chaos in the chamber: House Republicans have abandoned votes on two party-line funding bills within 48 hours, and as yet have no plan to avert a government shutdown after the November 17 deadline. The turmoil is a blow to the new speaker, Mike Johnson, who's yet to publicly suggest a solution. "I don't think the Lord Jesus himself could manage this group," Rep. Troy Nehls of Texas said per NBC News. RIP: Col. Frank Borman, the Apollo astronaut who led the first orbit of the moon, is dead at 95. The Apollo 8 mission carried three astronauts further from Earth than anyone had ever traveled. Borman's photograph "Earthrise" is one of the most iconic images ever taken in space, capturing the illuminated Earth as it came into view above the barren lunarscape. “Borman was a true American hero," NASA Administrator Bill Nelson said.   Must-Reads [Barbra Streisand and Judy Garland]( Stars Collide As two of the most iconic performers ever, did Barbra Streisand and Judy Garland have bad blood?
