Here's what happened — and how McConnell's colleagues have responded](. So what happened? McConnell suffered a fall from which he sustained a concussion in March. In the last two months, he's twice frozen for about 30 seconds apiece while answering questions from reporters. Per the New York Times, McConnell's had at least two more falls which his office has not disclosed. What did the doctor say? “I have consulted with Leader McConnell and conferred with his neurology team,” Dr. Brian P. Monahan wrote. “After evaluating yesterday’s incident, I have informed Leader McConnell that he is medically clear to continue with his schedule as planned.” Monahan added that “occasional lightheadedness is not uncommon in concussion recovery.” The reaction: Per Politico, a handful of GOP senators are debating whether to force a "special" meeting on their leadership when senators return to Washington next week. Cavalcante is “really good at hiding from law enforcement, and we believe that he’ll do anything in his power to attempt to evade us now,” DA Deb Ryan told CNN. Behind the camera: A Utah YouTuber who gained a 2.3 million following on her parenting channel has been arrested on two counts of aggravated child abuse after police discovered an “emaciated and malnourished" child, with "open wounds and duct tape around the extremities." Ruby Franke, who headed up the now-defunct channel 8 Passengers with her husband Kevin, was arrested alongside her business partner Jodi Hildebrandt.
