Speaking to Harris on the phone, Michelle said: "My girl, Kamala, I am proud of you. This is going to be historic.” Kamala Harris said she had a "frank and constructive" meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, and that she told him it was "time to get this deal done” to secure a ceasefire and end the war in Gaza. "I will not be silent,” she told reporters. France's high-speed rail lines were targeted with “malicious acts” that disrupted the service for thousands of passengers before the Olympics. The “coordinated sabotage” paralyzed the network, and led to a large number of trains being diverted or canceled. Gov. Gavin Newsom issued an executive order for the removal of homeless camps in California, calling for "humane" policies to address the issue. This follows a Supreme Court decision in favor of a city in Oregon that issues tickets to rough sleepers. Elon Musk's daughter Vivian Jenna Wilson has called out her father's transphobic comments. Musk posted on X that she was “born gay and slightly autistic” and would “pick out clothes for me to wear."
