Here’s the latest: Days after an Israeli airstrike on a tent camp caused a fire that killed at least 45 people, Palestinian officials say another airstrike has killed 21 civilians in a designated safe zone. Prime Minister Netanyahu called the former a “tragic mishap,” but the IDF denies that it was behind the more recent attack. Per analysis by CNN, U.S.-made munitions were used in the first deadly strike. Even before the incidents, the International Court of Justice had ordered Israel to halt its operation in Rafah, describing the humanitarian situation as “disastrous.” The U.S. has been forced to suspend aid by sea after its temporary pier off Gaza's coast was damaged on Tuesday.
