Over the course of 30 years, researchers followed more than 100,000 U.S. adults with no prior medical conditions and found that those who ate lots of UPFs had a 4% higher risk of an early death. These findings build on research released in February, which revealed that eating a diet high in these foods has been associated with 32 different health conditions, including cancer and type 2 diabetes. Hunter Biden could be headed to trial after a federal appeals court declined to dismiss the gun charges against him. The criminal trial is set to begin June 3, and Biden's due to appear in court May 24 for a pretrial conference. A new study from University of Missouri-Kansas City found that colorectal cancer is on the rise in young people ages 10-44 — jumping as much as 500% among certain age groups.
