Let’s begin…   In the News [Gaza protests at Emory University]( Getty Images Cracking Down Student demonstrations over the Israel-Hamas war show no signs of stopping. On Saturday alone, more than 200 arrests were made across four college campuses. At Washington University in St. Louis, more than 100 people were arrested, including Green Party candidate Jill Stein. In Boston, 102 demonstrators at Northeastern University were taken into custody, some in zip-tie handcuffs. Police crackdowns are intensifying on campuses nationwide. At Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia officers reportedly fired rubber bullets and tear gas into a crowd of pro-Palestinian protesters. While it’s too soon to tell just how big these demonstrations might get before classes let out for the summer, New York University professor Robert Cohen has said they could be “the largest student movement so far.” Here’s a closer look at [what the students are demanding,]( and how these protests compare to past ones. Meanwhile, [World Central Kitchen]( has announced that it'll resume operations in Gaza today. Donald Trump reportedly met Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis in private yesterday. The pair hadn't spoken since DeSantis dropped out of the GOP presidential race. A source told NBC News that the meeting was "friendly," and that DeSantis may help Trump with fundraising. At least five people are dead, including an infant, after tornadoes tore through Oklahoma and the central U.S. over the weekend. Flash flooding remains a concern from Missouri to Louisiana, and unsettled weather is still expected from Texas to Iowa. South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem has doubled down after drawing condemnation from animal rights groups for shooting what she called an "[untrainable" juvenile dog](. Noem's in the running to become Trump's running mate — [here's who she's up against.]( At least three women have contracted HIV after receiving "vampire facials" at an unlicensed New Mexico medical spa.
