Here’s the latest: USC: After Muslim student Asna Tabassum was named valedictorian her support for Palestine came under scrutiny, with one student group accusing her of sharing “antisemitic bigotry.” The university canceled her graduation speech, citing security concerns. Tabassum said USC had succumbed "to a campaign of hate meant to silence my voice.” Dozens of student groups and over 130 faculty members have expressed their disapproval of the move. Columbia: As university leadership told Congress it would crack down on unauthorized student protests, pro-Palestine protestors set up about 50 tents on the lawn.
