[Kaggle] Hi {NAME}, Argumentative writing is a crucial skill for success. It fosters critical thinking and civic engagement. You can strengthen this skill with practice, but unfortunately, most students don't get a chance to receive the consistent feedback needed to improve. Your data science skills could provide automated support to give students more training in argumentative writing. The goal of this competition is to classify argumentative elements in student writing as "effective," "adequate," or "ineffective." You will create a model trained on data that is representative of the 6th-12th grade population in the United States in order to minimize bias. The competition comprises two tracks: an Efficiency Prize ($30,000) and the traditional Leaderboard Prize ($25,000). Total Prizes: $55,000 Entry Deadline: August 16, 2022 [Join This Competition]( If successful, you may help students receive more feedback on their argumentative writing, which lays the foundation for success across many disciplines.
