The Justin Guitar Beginner Song Course by FourChords Great reviews coming in for the new app :) than

[JustinGuitar.com January 2017 Newsletter] Happy New Year {NAME} Hope you managed to find some time off to relax of the holiday season and that you found plenty of time to practice! I'm determined to practice hard this year and get my jazz chops together! I've set a whole bunch of completely unrealistic New Year Resolutions, including to completely stop swearing which went out the window trying to redesign a new newsletter template which keeps going wrong, so back to the old format for a last time and hope to get it sorted by next month! Anyhows... here's the news! News links and new lessons! Who got prizes in the #JustinGuitarXmas Giveaway?? Big thanks to all the sponsors: • [Music Room] • [D'Addario] • [Music Business Institute] • • [Guitar Pro] • [Blake Cases] • [Transcribe!] • Big THANK YOU to everyone who entered, you made the world better! [See who got what right here!] Something For The Weekend... So much to do and so little time! Trying to sort out my work life balance a bit better this year and trying to get together more of a team so I can focus on making more awesome lessons and less time coding and all that... so hope there will be a bit of boost in lesson quantity once everything is in place. Got some crackin songs in though last month: [Sweet Child 'O Mine [incl Main solo] by Guns 'n' Roses] (awesome!) [Albatross by Fleetwood Mac] (cover + 2 lessons!) [Born In The USA by Bruce Springsteen] (just 2 chords!) [Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana] (about time!) [George Michael, Careless Whisper] R.I.P. :( [Dancing In The Dark - Bruce Springsteen] (more BOSS!) The Justin Guitar Beginner Song Course by FourChords Great reviews coming in for the new app :) thank you! Great reviews really help move new apps along, we got a meeting in a couple of days to sort out a load more tweak, improvements and new songs, so more on that next newsletter! [iOS Apple Store] • [Google Play Store] Tuscany Acoustic Workshops 2017 Both acoistic workshops now sold out! Wow! But we're working hard to find a venue for two Jammin workshops later in the year (probably September), one will be all songs by The Rolling Stones and the other will be 5 songs in different styles. More on that as soon as we go the venue sorted! [JustinGuitar Workshops Website] The JustinGuitar Community Forum Update The forum is all updated and running super smooth now and you can even get a Community Forum app (both Android and iOS) so it's even easier to use! [The JustinGuitar Community Forum] JustinGuitar Manuscript NOW SHIPPING I don't use many of my own products, but this new manuscript paper is awesome and I'm using it for all my transcribing! If you write out stuff yourself, then try it out, nice thick paper and tab friendly line spacing! [Guitarists Manuscript Paper] Two New Books NOW SHIPPING So how many of you are learning to read dots for the new Year? If you are my Note Reading book will give you an awesome start! [Note Reading For Guitarists] • [Rhythm Reading] Blues Licks iOS App Lotta great feedback from my new Blues Licks app. It's all 56 of the licks from my series in app form with tab, animated fretboard and the ability to download the videos for each into the app. Sorry no Android version yet, maybe in the future. [Blues Licks app on the App store] General News OK, just a super quick news this time because I got far too much to get on with and just lost an hour in a frustrating fury trying to get my new newsletter template working properly, but no no avail! Grrrr. ;) I'm just back from a lovely 3 day break in the Cotwolds, bit of hiking and a lot of relaxing! New Years Eve was rather different with a 7 month old baby, but she's the best gift I could have asked for, so much fun watching her grow and we now have occasional jams, her bashing away on a xylophone while I play uke. She loves pulling at the strings on her Uke and smiles at the sound when she strums while I hold down chords, can't wait until she can play on her own! My partner and I keep find ourselves walking around singing the horrible songs that her toys play now which is pretty funny and she's already trying to stand up - growing so crazy fast, I don't want to miss it! Now is a great time of year to decide on your goals and practice routine and get your motivation up, I'm really wanting to work on my jazz playing and so trying to work on a new tune every week. I'm happy if I can get an hour a day practice so that's my goal at the moment. Of course I play more than that for 'work' but y'know working on beginner song video's is more time consuming than challenging! Do check out the [Practice Better] series for help with goal setting and making the most of your time! The web site is running very well now thanks to the Nik, the new tech, it's all SSL secure and now we're working on making it even faster (already way faster than ever before). This is the busiest time of the year with well over 40,000 unique visitors a day at the moment! Amazin' Lots more exciting things coming up in the coming months, big thank you to everyone who has supported the site and enabled me to invest in the site and get some great improvements done and keep it free :) you're awesome! heartfelt thanks! I really better get back to finishing my practice and working on the new course and songs I want to film next week! Wishing your health, happiness, love and laughter in 2017!
