News links and new lessons! The Justin Guitar Beginner Song Course by FourChords The last few months I been working a lot on this app which is essential a beginner guitar course based on playing along with songs. I have structured the songs for easy progression and there are exclusive lesson videos in the app. We got plans for improvement already and will be adding new songs regularly. It's available for iOS and Android and available in over 100 countries! The trial is free so go check it out :) * reviews always greatly appreciated if you dig it * [iOS Apple Store] • [Google Play Store] Mega DVD Offer - all of them for just £99.95 We did this offer last year and had to do emergency re-prints it was so popular so we thought we'd run it again this year! All the DVD's that we have can be yours for just £99.95 :) That's less than half price (saves £128.10 to be exact) and is only available until the end of the year - DON'T MISS OUT! [The JustinGuitar Complete DVD Collection for just £99.95] Be Nice This Xmas and win AWESOME STUFF :) I've got a big Santa sack full of awesome stuff to give away to people that do good things in their community. [Get all the details and see prize video here!] Something For The Weekend... Sweet Child O Mine series is nearly over - just the Main Solo to come out this weekend... and just FYI, it's in two halves and the second half is ONLY going to be on the website! I'm shocked at how many folk on YouTube don't know what's on the website so going to be encouraging people to come over and look around! Just filmed a nice duet with myself playing Peter Green's Albatross, coming soon! [Sweet Child O' Mine 2nd Solo (and links to whole series!)] Christmas Songs Not long left now to get your Christmas songs learned too. Massive collection on the site to check out, easy, hard, pop and traditional! Some with TAB too! [Learn loads of Christmas songs :)] Tuscany Acoustic Workshops 2017 We have 2 workshops planned so far for 2017, in a new location but still in Tuscany, a beautiful spa town and our hotel has it's own natural hot water spring to swim in! There are two acoustic courses, one for beginners and one for 'almost intermediate'. We are planning another 2 workshops later in the year in the "jam" format with the band. Will announce them when venue and dates are confirmed. Have also made a new mini web site about the workshops and more weekend workshops planned in London too! [JustinGuitar Workshops Website] The JustinGuitar Community Forum Update I must admit that I've not been very active in the forum this year but planning to be back a lot more now. I've got a new tech on board (Cheers Nik!) who has updated everything and it's running super fast and you may have noticed how much easier it is not to move between the forum and the main site. There will be a new Forum app out (iOS and Android) to access the forum direct too. Will share on socials when live! [The JustinGuitar Community Forum] JustinGuitar Manuscript NOW SHIPPING A lot of products I make are ones I want myself, like high quality manuscript paper with TAB on one side and stave and TAB on the other. I tested loads of different paper and prints and now offer this 50 page pad with ringbinding holes punched for you :) perfect xmas gift for the transcribing guitarist. And check out our new branded pens and pencils while you're in the store! [Guitarists Manuscript Paper] Two New Books NOW SHIPPING Getting great reviews in from the two new books and a common New Years Resolution for guitarists is often to learn how to read notation... well this pair of books will really help you with that and I hope inspire you to keep at it! [Note Reading For Guitarists] • [Rhythm Reading] Beginner & Aussie Songbook Songs OK, I been a bit slack on new beginner songs but I've just been so crazy busy with other project that I couldn't keep all the plates spinning. But I'm gonna get on it when I get to the studio later today! [Better - The Screaming Jets] (Massive Aussie rock hit!) [Buy The Beginner's Songbook Volume 2 at our official store] [Buy The Aussie Classics Songbook at our official store] Blues Licks iOS App Lotta great feedback from my new Blues Licks app. It's all 56 of the licks from my series in app form with tab, animated fretboard and the ability to download the videos for each into the app. Sorry no Android version yet, maybe in the future. [Blues Licks app on the App store] General News Merry Christmas and the very best wishes for 2017! Hope you're already full of Christmas spirit and finding time for musical fun! As usual I've been crazy busy but trying to balance it with plenty of time with my daughter who's now plucking strings on her Ukulele all by herself! I'm loving being a dad but it means I have to work real hard when I'm working - which is fine, playing guitar and running the site is a dream job, so I sure ain't complaining. Had a few nightmares with the web servers and sites were crashing and all kinds of drama which took a lot of time to find the right people to get it all back on track, which I think is now sorted out. Really trying to build a great team around me now to help me keep the site up to date and rocking as good as it should. It's so big now it's hard to keep on top of everything myself and stuff ain't getting fixed that should. Working hard on this other big project which will be out hopefully in January. It's mega and while I can't wait to share it with you I want to make sure it's proper awesome before I make it live! Special big thanks to all the people who help make the site work: The Jedi (runs the store), Indigo (web assistant), Lieven and Richard (Forum Mods), Nik (new web tech), Leafcutter Studios team (apps), Musopia team (apps), Carlo (runs the Italian workshops with me), Tom (editor) ... and all the great and inspiring musicians I get to hang out and work with :) Hope you have yourself an amazing holiday season, I greatly appreciate your support through the year and am thankful every day that landed this awesome gig :) I hope you have as much fun with the guitar as I do! Wishing you much love and laughter this Christmas, Justin x [facebook] [soundcloud] [twitter] [youtube] [Follow on Twitter] [Friend on Facebook] [Forward to Friend] Copyright © 2016 Justin Guitar Ltd, All rights reserved. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
