[Creep N00m on Spooky's Ghost House... It was only a matter of time really wasn't it. The sound and stable fit perfectly as Creepy dusts off his eeriest funk on "Disconnect" thanks to its harrowed harmonies and groaning brass. "Murder" is a much murkier affair (just as it is in reality) with all kinds of prang textures and a slow, mean and measured smoky plough into the dark unknown. Two big VIPs complete the set; the previously dub-only "Gang Wvrs" gets some heavyweight justice while "Disconnect VIP" gets an added boost, too. Make a disconnection today.](

[Up until now, Wheelton has been a peripheral yet enticing artist doing his thing one his one and twos. This is the producer's fourth EP to date and, if you're of the sort of disposition to enjoy a bit of power drumming, grime-slewing, and bass exploring, then thin man should have no problem in sorting you and you weekend nights out. "CPH4" is a bouncy, beat-driven ride that reminds us of Shackleton on speed, "VNS" winds the drums and bass waves down to a more head-nodding level. Remixes are plentiful and satisfying: AXH and Section 8 twist CPH4 into more danceable frameworks, while Arta's remix of "VNS" is a delightfully dubwise affair backed by a heavy, marching bassline.](

[If there's one bass label that we keep a hawkish eye on these days it's definitely Foundation Audio. The UK crew are smashing it on all fronts, from the sort of deep and treacherous dubstep they offer to the myriad of new talents that they find. Two newcomers debut on our charts this week, the reckless Teffa and Kai Li, who clearly don't care much for traditional dance frameworks. Instead, they launch an off-ilter attach through the opening vibrations of the wobbly "Uchuujin", which is a relatively straight-laced affair compared to the almost shapeless bass stabs of "Hyohakusha". Teffa stands alone on "Digital Shaman", a merciless barricade of dubby sub-tones and tribal percussion patterns, while Kai Li drops the barren soundscape that is "Defect", a tune that uses the power of bass to create movement and a solid groove. Large up!](

[Division](
[Coming through on the likes of Eatbrain, Methlab, Shogun and Vandal, it was only a matter of time before French firesmith Signs appeared on Division. He's brought out his gnarliest finery for the occasion, too, as we're flung and flipped chaotically amid the abyssal space between the futuristic halftime beats. From the warped atonal prang outs and slimy drums of "Strangers" to creeped out vocal manipulations and trippy block-knocking rhythm of "Paper Bag" via the sludgy robot march and broken glass shatters of "Purple Frog", Signs has cooked up something seriously sick right here. Time to go skinny dipping.](

[Both Otik and Boom Ting Records like to construct gnarly, off-the-wall bass bruisers, so this should be the perfect partnership moving forwards. For the time being, we can confirm that this is some straight-up dutty material, straight from the street and onto your speakers! The producer drops two cuts of "Dannii Minogue", the original version which has more in common with 00s grime that it does with modern post-dubstep, all fire from the vocals by Grim Sickers to the percussion muscle, and a bass-heavy dub lick to break out in the middle of the rave. "Cautionary Tales" is the perfect ending to this energetic EP, a slew of eerie synths glide over malicious two-step beats to give off a true-school London flavour. Bad!](

[All The Things](
[Circus](
[After a gnarly opening EP for NCS late in 2015, Umpire returns with a stealthy killer of a single for the Circus massive, and this is a definite step in a new direction the artist. Not only is it"All The Things" a wonderfully crafted piece of dance music, but it also has the potential to appeal to so many different audiences across the underground music landscape. To put it bluntly, this is quality r&b with the UK's natural tendency to add some electronic swagger to the equation, and the results are absolutely magnificent. We shall no doubt hear a lot more of Umpire in the coming years.](

[Southpoint's Chemist RNS jumps aboard the new talent scouting grime / bass imprint Chameleon Audio and he's bringing company... Leominster's Jakebob performs lyrical gymnastics over Chemist's spatial Oriental-themed aesthetics. Remix-wise KXVU gets wavy, MoJoe gets cosmic while Sour F4ce murks up the dance with something a little swampier. Complete with an instrumental if you can't handle Jakebob's fork-tongued academic seminar.](

[Steely sounds from New Zealand as Ebb & Embargo return to Averted Vision with three collaborative fractured bass murder cases. "The Network" digs deep into the rave with a provocative slo-mo amen attack and stern spoken messages. The subversive, arrangement-challenging "Gunblade" fires shots so stark and twisted and entangled you won't know what hit you until it's left the scene of the crime. Finally "Hornet" swarms out with raw, malignant clouds of bass that wrap around you and squeeze those deep dark paranoias you didn't even know you had. Brilliantly dark.](

[Exclusive to us here at Juno Download, we present the new full length by Legendary British duo Alex Rizzo and Elliot Ireland aka Skeewiff. TheIr block rocking beats have made them stalwarts of the Jalapeno label as well as appearing regularly for Rambling and out of Japan and their own Pedigree Cuts imprint. Their cut and paste 'cinerama' is twisted and transported via five dimensions throughout the album and perfectly encapsulated on this thrilling soundtrack to a departure. Highlights include the liquid drum and bass of dynamic opener "Down The Rabbit Hole", the uplifting 'soul-step' of "Pig & Pepper" (that has the Hospital Records kinda sound) as well as "Who Stole The Tarts" which goes for glitchy and bleepin' beats and bass shenanigans.](

[There was a point in Creep N00m's discography that it felt like we were getting album-sized projects every half a year. In comparison to Run Dem, however, they were barely EPs... Cooked over a longer gestation period, marinated in VIPs, sprinkled with cameos (Dubzta, Genoc1de, Ro Nin) and garnished with details and repeating elements, Run Dem is an immersive (not to mention tasty) body of work from start to finish while offering freshness for DJs on every dark, grumbling twist and turn. From the creeped out reverse groans, tightly rolled hi-hats and funky, sleazy kicks of "Fighta VIP" to the paranoid bass warps of "Mass Murder", this is the sound of a man who knows his palette and vision intimately and intuitively.](

[LA badman 6Blocc has been given the keys to Phantom Hertz slimiest, dankest vaults and told to get wild on a remix flex. Fixing up some of the label's classic cuts with a drum & bass / halftime perspective, highlights include a sub-heavy twist on DayZero's "Unexplored", a rifle-like drum explosion on Fabricator's "Society" (one of the label's earliest releases) and the tribal shakedown of High Dude's "Abduct". Deep, dubby and dangerous, 6Blocc has smashed the dickens out of this remix project.](

[Who knew Creep N00m was a cosmonaut in his spare time? We certainly didn't, but the outer planetary sound designs on "Attack From Space" are so authentic that we can't come to any other conclusion. Our intrepid Russian explorer hasn't just checked his socials in at deep space either; "Amazon" is a direct rain forest romp and the hard, sheet metal slams and bangs of "Radical" sound like there was recorded in a steel mill. Elsewhere we get crazy-jazzy on the firing broken beat badness of "Mood Indigo" and unleash our spiritual side on "The Buddha". Complete with a VIP of last year's "Midnight", this EP more than lives up to its title.](

[Super-prolific Russian roustabout Creep N00m lays down his third, and arguably nastiest, album-sized project in 18 months. Drunken Brawl lives up to its name; the eponymous opener throws a pint glass mindlessly into the dancefloor with trap-like tenacity and all hell breaks loose. "Finish Him" bear hugs the nearest combatant and squeezes the life out of him with brutal grimey nastiness, "Masta Riddim" leaps around the pub serving up round-house kicks with footwork-style 808 angularity, "More Fire" gets sneaky and hides in the shadows before taking the entire pub by surprise with a series of sharp strings and icy atmospheric slaps while "Hype" shuts the whole fight down with a funky bass message that reminds we're all mates and should show each other a bit more love. Knock out material.](

[Following extensive releases on KFR, Moscow-based Creep N00m jumps aboard the good ship Phantom Hertz for a quartet of truly unique bass gems. "Swing" sets the tone with processed funk guitars tailored deep into the riddim and a jazzed-out break that oozes flute power. "Bluff Factor" continues the organic motif with sweet trumpet parps that mirror the jaunty drum arrangement and dramatic synth-horn stabs. "Pursuit" is much more minimal in its make-up where a bellowing sub, snake-like LFOs and heartbeat kicks create a hypnotic effect throughout. "Cyberton" completes the set with authentic dub cheer. Well-measured with bounced-out sub shots and ricocheting snare licks, it's yet another example of Creep's creative abilities. It don't mean a thing if you ain't got this "Swing"!](
