Click [here]( to view in a browser [Juno Download]( [This week's dubstep selections]( Friday 10 February 2017 [New this week]( [View all]( [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Footsie]( [King Original Vol 4]( EXCLUSIVE [Braindead Entertainment](Entertainment/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_17-02-06&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_new+this+week&utm_campaign=feat_email_dubstep_jd) [Footsie... It's been too long. Almost three years since his last King Original beat collections, the Newham General bumps back into your dublist with another slew of cold originals. Easing into the fray with restrained moody atmospheres on "God Like" and the chase-sequence, 808 smoking "Brake Light" Footsie gradually takes us deeper and deeper into his psyche... His contemplative side with the tripped out ricochet tones on "Smoke Ring" and spooky misty murkery of "Smoke Ring", his curveball, unpredictable side on tracks like "Two In The Front" and straight-up no-messing side on "One Finger" and the slow-burning orchestral damager "Hostile".... The list goes on. Deeper than previous collections and loaded with experimental twists, Footsie's on a serious vibe right here.]( [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Kloudmen]( [DUPLOC016]( EXCLUSIVE [DUPLOC]( [Swedish sludge merchants Kloudmen float down from the sub heavens for a premium position on the ever on-point DUPLOC and serve us two cuts of the cool, crisp dub. "Djuro" is a game of two halves going on at once - do you fix your focus on the rippling jazz chords in the background or the groaning pneumatic bass pressure in the forefront? "XR" removes any quandaries as our focus is firmly fixed on the chasmic dubspace and sizzling designs that ricochet across the mix. Remarkable.]( [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Pushloop]( [Midnight Wax]( [Dank N Dirty Dubz](N+Dirty+Dubz/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_17-02-06&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_new+this+week&utm_campaign=feat_email_dubstep_jd) [Californian bass crusader makes himself known on DNDD with four heavyweight cuts. "Midnight Wax" soundtracks a paranoid graveyard prowl, all shadows and owl hoots. "Secret Society" is a harmonically fine-tuned stepper that's tailored for the biggest of rigs while "White Magic" blows cosmic pipe wind into our third eyes with total dubspace satisfaction and "Kula Kula" takes us deep into the north African deserts with immense and foreboding results. Remix-wise Caidance adds layers of hazy mystical atmospheres while The Widdler fazes out the vocal and remoulds our attention to the drums. Debuts don't come much stronger than this.]( [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Shandy]( [Vintage Grime Volume 3]( [New World Audio](World+Audio/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_17-02-06&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_new+this+week&utm_campaign=feat_email_dubstep_jd) [Longstanding New World Audio merker Shandy cracks open three tins of fizzy fire on us with the fittingly titled "Vintage Grime" collection. "Horizon" sets the scene with string-sprung drama. Unashamedly steppy, it's an instant flashback to 2001. "Coincide" joins the dots with dubstep with its hazy tones and low-slow groove. Finally "Projection" is an all-out space hopper with a broadsword bassline, neck-snapping beats and delicate pianos. True to the craft.]( [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Ghast]( [ENC022]( [Encrypted Audio](Audio/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_17-02-06&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_new+this+week&utm_campaign=feat_email_dubstep_jd) [Continuously excavating talent from the darkest depths of dubspace, Encrypted Audio maintain the heat seat of Argo's 2017 opener with this ludicrously loose four-piece. Everything about "Cough" startles and discomforts - the droning strings, the strange drums, the trembling hook; it all works together with alarming results. "Mercurial" takes the space concept even further with enough room to fit entire fleets of buses between the kicks while "No Escape" tips at modern classical techniques with its textures before a smoky 808 eases itself into the fray. Finally "Artesh" looks east for alluring, cosmic inspiration. Heady stuff.]( [Also new this week]( [View all]( [Alivvve]( [The Best Of Future Garage Producer/Alivvve]( [Nicksher Music](Music/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_17-02-06&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_also+new+this+week&utm_campaign=feat_email_dubstep_jd) [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Korostyle]( [Project/Korokat]( [Section 8 Bass](8+Bass/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_17-02-06&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_also+new+this+week&utm_campaign=feat_email_dubstep_jd) [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Soltri]( / [Jantsen]( / [Dirt Monkey](Monkey/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_17-02-06&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_also+new+this+week&utm_campaign=feat_email_dubstep_jd) [Jantsen & Dirt Monkey Present Soltri Part 1]( [Kairos Audio](Audio/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_17-02-06&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_also+new+this+week&utm_campaign=feat_email_dubstep_jd) [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Nuaru]( [Salt Lick]( [TrapHood Family](Family/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_17-02-06&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_also+new+this+week&utm_campaign=feat_email_dubstep_jd) [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Still hot]( [View all]( [DOK]( [Efed Up EP]( [Hardrive]( [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Crystal Catcha](Catcha/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_17-02-06&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_still+hot&utm_campaign=feat_email_dubstep_jd) [Animal Kingdom]( [Imperial Audio](Audio/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_17-02-06&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_still+hot&utm_campaign=feat_email_dubstep_jd) [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Inyoka]( [The Inyoka EP]( [Gourmet Beats](Beats/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_17-02-06&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_still+hot&utm_campaign=feat_email_dubstep_jd) [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Mungo's Hi Fi](27s+Hi+Fi/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_17-02-06&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_still+hot&utm_campaign=feat_email_dubstep_jd) [Rules Of The Dance]( [Scrub A dub](A+dub/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_17-02-06&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_still+hot&utm_campaign=feat_email_dubstep_jd) [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [TROP]( [ENCLP001]( [Encrypted Audio](Audio/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_17-02-06&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_still+hot&utm_campaign=feat_email_dubstep_jd) [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Big Narstie](Narstie/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_17-02-06&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_still+hot&utm_campaign=feat_email_dubstep_jd) feat [Xaviour]( [They Don't Know (Explicit)]( [Dice Recordings Music](Recordings+Music/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_17-02-06&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_still+hot&utm_campaign=feat_email_dubstep_jd) [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Featured label: Braindead Entertainment](Entertainment/releases/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_17-02-06&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_featured+label%3A+braindead&utm_campaign=feat_email_dubstep_jd) [View all](Entertainment/releases/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_17-02-06&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_featured+label%3A+braindead&utm_campaign=feat_email_dubstep_jd) [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Footsie]( [On This Ting]( [Braindead Entertainment](Entertainment/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_17-02-06&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_featured+label%3A+braindead&utm_campaign=feat_email_dubstep_jd) [Newham General Footsie gets busy on a solo flex and, in case we needed reminding, he's on this ting. Waxing his unique lyrical flow over a bright, tripletty self-produced groove, it's an instant banger with a hook that's right up there with Skepta's "Shutdown". Complete with an acapella and instrumental; this good to go, fam!]( [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Footsie]( [King Original Vol 3]( [Braindead Entertainment](Entertainment/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_17-02-06&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_featured+label%3A+braindead&utm_campaign=feat_email_dubstep_jd) [Not just one of the most enduring MCs in the grime game, Footsie peddles a fine line of studio material, and if you picked up last year's King Original albums, you'll already know this. Creative, subversive and unpredictable, they embody grime's original spirit through and through. The third volume in the series continues this vein of form as he jumps from stunning euphoria ("Bubblers") to cosmic and warped ("Exodus"), to outrageous drama ("Bombaclart") to swampy paranoia ("Very Alarming") with ease and character. 100 per cent original, Footsie really is the King.]( [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Blacks]( / [Footsie]( [OTC (On The Circuit)]( [Braindead Entertainment](Entertainment/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_17-02-06&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_featured+label%3A+braindead&utm_campaign=feat_email_dubstep_jd) [It's a raw, undiluted aggression session as Blacks and Footsie go toe-to-toe across five feisty buzz cuts. Both the OGz and Newham General messages are delivered with clarity as we're drenched in hench. Highlights include the electrifying hype swagger production on "Not Timid", the trappist licks on "Lunatic" and the thugged up paranoia on "OTC." Grime doesn't get more powerful than this.]( [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Footsie]( [King Original Vol 2]( [Braindead Entertainment](Entertainment/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_17-02-06&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_featured+label%3A+braindead&utm_campaign=feat_email_dubstep_jd) [For most producers, one compendium of original material in a year would be enough. Not for Newham General Footsie, though. Oh no. Just three months after Volume 1 blew us away, here comes an equally massive follow up. Entrenched in gritty, uncompromising highlights, this grime instrumental package is scorched with quality; from Dizzee's tripped out rub of "Sci-Fi" to the long awaited Newham Generals instrumental version of "Violence" via the soundsystem-primed trad dub vibes of "No Matter" and the dreamy hypnosis of "Congo", this does more business than Lord Sugar himself. Essential.]( [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Footsie]( [1 Spliff]( [Braindead Entertainment](Entertainment/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_17-02-06&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_featured+label%3A+braindead&utm_campaign=feat_email_dubstep_jd) [Simple but crucially effective; "1 Spliff" takes a miniscule sample hit from Billy Boyo, pitches it up and loops it for maximum rabble-rousing. Soft enough to give Newham General Footsie the full floor but clever enough to keep the groove moving, it's a textbook lesson in how grime can be very groovy. "Duppy Mekka" opens as a much deeper, classically dubbed affair before dropping into shiny metallic alien bass and trap-style horn work. One climax-track and one bare instrumental work-out - two examples of Footsie at his finest.]( [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Footsie]( [King Original Vol 1 (Instrumentals 2004-2006)]( [Braindead Entertainment](Entertainment/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_17-02-06&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_featured+label%3A+braindead&utm_campaign=feat_email_dubstep_jd) [Best know for his work as one half of Newham Generals, Footsie is nevertheless a strong grime producer in his own right, as this compilation of his work from 2004-2006 demonstrates. The sheer amount of material (22 tracks) can be quite overwhelming, but they all ooze quality; from the dark, dubby, square wave stepper of "Scars" which kicks things off, through the frantic strings and squelch of "Back To '95), the exotic tones and stop-start mechanics of "Dats Normal" and the frankly killer "Showerman Time", this compilation comes highly recommended.]( [Coming soon]( [View all]( [Shudan]( [Ice Chirps EP (Explicit)]( [White Peach](Peach/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_17-02-06&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_coming+soon&utm_campaign=feat_email_dubstep_jd) [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [B1t Crunch3r](Crunch3r/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_17-02-06&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_coming+soon&utm_campaign=feat_email_dubstep_jd) / [Ghast]( [Number Muncher/Uncanny Valley]( [Gradient Audio](Audio/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_17-02-06&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_coming+soon&utm_campaign=feat_email_dubstep_jd) [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Modulate]( / [Obie]( [Believe]( [Lethal Theory Music](Theory+Music/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_17-02-06&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_coming+soon&utm_campaign=feat_email_dubstep_jd) [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Smokefade]( [Savor Leaves]( [Elastica]( [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( Featured DJ charts [Lowquid]( [Jan 2017 Selection]( [Wallwork & Luru]( [Impact]( [Nervous Horizon]( [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Sensei]( [Outlet (original mix)]( [Simply Deep]( [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Lowquid]( [Cold Sweat]( [SweetBox]( [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Nuvaman]( [Bada]( [Artifice]( [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Impey]( [Pep Talk]( [Astral Black]( [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Cloaka](
