[Juno Download]( [This Week's Selections]( Friday 26 October 2018 [New This Week]( [View all]( [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Extrawelt]( [Unknown ALBUM OF THE WEEK]( [Cocoon Germany](Germany/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_18-10-22&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_new+this+week&utm_campaign=feat_email_all_jd) [Unknown is Extrawelt's fourth artist album and sees the pairing of Arne Schaffhausen and Wayan Raabe try something different. It's clear from the vocodered vocals and Italo-inspired melodies of "We Are Asteroid!" that the pair have gone down a new route. This becomes more evident on the atmospheric electro of "Fischmarkt On Acid" and the somewhat more abstract 808 shuffle of "Ausloser". While fans of the German duo's trance-influenced techno may balk at the direction that Unknown takes, this is an assured, innovative album. As the pulsating bass and magnificent synth sweeps of "Ort Und Impuls" show, Extrawelt's dive into the unknown is to be welcomed.]( [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Rommek]( [Metamorphic - Set In Stone Trilogy Remixes]( [Blueprint]( [This is the final instalment of Rommek's Set In Stone project and sees Blueprint call on some of techno's best known artists to provide remixes. First up is Makaton's take on "Obsidian", with the UK producer dropping razor-sharp metallic riffs over a dense stepping rhythm. Oliver Ho's Broken English Club project is next up with a radically different rework, turning "Komatiite" into a slowed down, atmospheric dirge. Label owner James Ruskin steers the release back to the dance floor with his hypnotic, orchestral take on "Grintstone", while he pairs up with Karl 'Regis' O'Connor for a menacing mid-paced stepping take on "Flint".]( [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Catz 'n Dogz](%27n+Dogz/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_18-10-22&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_new+this+week&utm_campaign=feat_email_all_jd) [The Choice]( [Pets Recordings Germany](Recordings+Germany/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_18-10-22&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_new+this+week&utm_campaign=feat_email_all_jd) [A bold statement against insular club culture, closed minds and lack of innovation, "The Choice" continues Catz 'N Dogz positive broadcasts with the help of Miss Bunty and three great friends on remix duties. On the Miss Bunty vocal, the track's bouncy acid groove powers along boldly to support her empowering lyrics, while the BETON Tribute To The Classics mix gets deep down and dirty. Madrid's Bawrut lets the drummer get wicked and man of the moment Adriyano gets his dusty classic house stomp on with the Super Relaks remix.]( [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Javier Carballo](Carballo/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_18-10-22&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_new+this+week&utm_campaign=feat_email_all_jd) [Silver Smiles]( [VL Recordings](Recordings/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_18-10-22&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_new+this+week&utm_campaign=feat_email_all_jd) [Canary Islands based Javier Carballo first appeared on our radar a couple of years back with his terrific Loopera Prima EP on Nuremberg's Tabla Records. He definitely had the credentials long before that though, running his respected Overall Music imprint (with Hanfry Martinez) and having released on labels like Decay and One Records. His next bunch of grooves come courtesy of Hector's Vatos Locos, presenting a fine collection of dubby and hypnotic tackle for the early evening or the afterhours alike - all delivered in Carballo's distinct and expertly executed style.]( [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [EJECA]( [The Crystal Maze EP SINGLE OF THE WEEK]( [Four Thirty Two](Thirty+Two/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_18-10-22&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_new+this+week&utm_campaign=feat_email_all_jd) [Dressed head to toe in a jump suit, Ejeca serves up an EP of chunky, tried-and-tested dancefloor treats seemingly inspired by everyone's favourite 1980s adventure game show. He first opts for a physical task on opener "Unloving", a boisterous, retro-futurist big room house workout. Crystal safely tucked in his pocket, he charges through the all-new Jacking Zone (see "Standard Acid House Track") before pausing to catch his breath in the Industrial Zone, where the psychedelic atmosphere and raw analogue grooves of "Crystal Maze" await. Paul Woolford dons his Special Request guise to claim another crystal via a typically hardcore-influenced, bass-heavy re-make of "Unloving", before Ejeca heads towards the Crystal Dome to the accompaniment of late night techno shuffler "ISWHATIS". Start the fans please!]( [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( Various [Forza Horizon 4: Hospital Soundtrack]( [Hospital]( [If you're familiar with the Forza franchise you will know two things; the game is best played to a D&B soundtrack and Hospital Records in-game radio station. Now for the first time (definitely in Hospital history, perhaps in D&B history too) the label have created an album of tracks specifically for the game. And your DJ sets. Cue Hospital's finest operators, each proffering stone cold gems. S.P.Y's "Rock Da House" is an impeccable hypnotic stepper that's been doing the business on dub all summer, Urbandawn's "Caffeine" has enough filtered disco pump to put led in your pencil for about 20 years while his collaboration with Whiney "Loki" is a splintered step jam with dramatic orchestral twists. Elsewhere London Elektricity gets sincerely symphonic on "Now That's A Switch", Hugh Hardie goes all Good Looking on "Offshore", Lakeway does some serious damage with the junglised grime hybrid "Stomp Your Soul" and Krakota gets absolutely filthy on "Mismatch". And that's not even half of it. May the Forza be with you.]( [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Kemback]( [Moving Through Clouds]( [Needwant]( [Although Geoff Wright AKA Kemback has an impressive track record - see his fine EPs on Omena and DBA Dubs for proof - none of his previous releases were quite as good as this expansive outing on Needwant. For proof, check the string-laden majesty of opener "I Need You", where sumptuous violins and dreamy vocal samples tumble down over a bustling house groove, the melancholic, slowly-shifting deep house bliss of "Moving Through Clouds" and the loved-up, bass-heavy hustle of "Steppin Back", a gorgeous fusion of "Pacific State" style dreaminess, early New Jersey deep house and more forthright breakbeat-house bottom-end. Also worth checking is Soulphiction's subtly acid-flecked but similarly sumptuous revision of "I Need You".]( [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Oskar Offermann](Offermann/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_18-10-22&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_new+this+week&utm_campaign=feat_email_all_jd) [Truth Within The Kilos]( [Live At Robert Johnson Germany](At+Robert+Johnson+Germany/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_18-10-22&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_new+this+week&utm_campaign=feat_email_all_jd) [Offenbach?s favourite son returns! A long time affiliate of legendary local institution Robert Johnson, White/Rimini boss Oskar Offermann represents for the hometown club which gave him his first break - after releases on quality labels like Mule Musiq, Aim and locals Hardworksoftdrink. The tracks on his new offering entitled Truth With The Kilos are right in harmony with Frankfurt?s new breed (such as the Traffic and Pager crews), as best heard on retro techno/electro jams like "Motikids Im Swingerclub" or "Moments Later", while "Dopey" goes down a dirty slo-mo acid route.]( [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [DJ Hybrid](Hybrid/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_18-10-22&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_new+this+week&utm_campaign=feat_email_all_jd) [Puff Puff Pass EP]( [Serial Killaz](Killaz/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_18-10-22&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_new+this+week&utm_campaign=feat_email_all_jd) [DJ Hybrid sparks up once again. This time flexing on Serial Killaz imprint, it's another generous package that stretches across the board and back. "Puff Puff Pass" pays homage with the sticky icky with a drawn out fog horn bassline, "Ready To Rumble" adds a little vocal sensuality to the glacial bass while "I Challenge You" is more of a tech edged affair with another scorching electric bassline. Dig deeper for the frenzied rifle breaks and creative humanised textures of "Beatbox" (with My Selecta) and the savage breaks and Dread bass warbles of "Hear The Drummer". If that's not enough there's an uncut stinker VIP of "Moving On" thrown in for good measure. No one is doing it like DJ Hybrid.]( [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Hologram]( / [Allison]( [Solstice]( [Running Back Germany](Back+Germany/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_18-10-22&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_new+this+week&utm_campaign=feat_email_all_jd) [Reissue of this valuable ambient techno classic on Schematic Records. Originally written and recorded in 1998, "Solstice" is an evocative bleep ambient masterpiece by Atlanta's Omar Torres. Interestingly enough, it first appeared in 2002 as the initial release on Joe Claussell's Natural Resource label. It has gained deep respect and praise over the years, becoming one of the most highly sought after pieces in underground electronic music. This new re-release is remastered for a special digital only copy with an additional remix by Full Pupp chief Prins Thomas.]( [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Patrice Rushen](Rushen/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_18-10-22&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_new+this+week&utm_campaign=feat_email_all_jd) [Never Gonna Give You Up (Joey Negro Remixes)]( [Z Records](Records/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_18-10-22&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_new+this+week&utm_campaign=feat_email_all_jd) [Though not as celebrated as some of its contemporaries, Patrice Rushen's 1980 single "Never Gonna Give You Up" is undoubtedly a breezy, sweet-as-sugar disco treat. It arguably didn't need remixing, though if there's one man guaranteed to give it a great makeover it's housemaster turned disco don Joey Negro. He delivers killer vocal and instrumental versions, both of which give more prominence to the original beats, killer bassline, spacey synths and horns, waiting to introduce the sweeping orchestration - a dominant feature of Rushen's 1980 version - until the later stages of the track. They're the kind of mixes Tom Moulton may have produced back in the day, and there's no higher praise for a disco remixer than that.]( [Deep House - New This Week]( [View all]( [Niles Cooper](Cooper/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_18-10-22&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_deep+house+-+new+this+wee&utm_campaign=feat_email_all_jd) [House Gospel EP]( [Super Tuff](Tuff/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_18-10-22&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_deep+house+-+new+this+wee&utm_campaign=feat_email_all_jd) [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Claudio Giordano](Giordano/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_18-10-22&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_deep+house+-+new+this+wee&utm_campaign=feat_email_all_jd) [Areth La Fonk]( [La Bouee Rouge](Bouee+Rouge/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_18-10-22&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_deep+house+-+new+this+wee&utm_campaign=feat_email_all_jd) [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Kreutziger Kollektiv](Kollektiv/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_18-10-22&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_deep+house+-+new+this+wee&utm_campaign=feat_email_all_jd) / [Retromigration]( [How It Goes]( [Monocord]( [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Claudio Giordano](Giordano/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_18-10-22&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_deep+house+-+new+this+wee&utm_campaign=feat_email_all_jd) [Black Tide]( [Platform 7even](7even/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_18-10-22&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_deep+house+-+new+this+wee&utm_campaign=feat_email_all_jd) [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Garagestylerz]( [My Touch]( [Bikini Sounds](Sounds/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_18-10-22&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_deep+house+-+new+this+wee&utm_campaign=feat_email_all_jd) [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Iron Curtis](Curtis/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_18-10-22&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_deep+house+-+new+this+wee&utm_campaign=feat_email_all_jd) / [Daniela La Luz](La+Luz/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_18-10-22&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_deep+house+-+new+this+wee&utm_campaign=feat_email_all_jd) / [Christian S](S/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_18-10-22&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_deep+house+-+new+this+wee&utm_campaign=feat_email_all_jd) [://About Blank 005]( [://about blank](3A%252F%252Fabout+blank/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_18-10-22&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_deep+house+-+new+this+wee&utm_campaign=feat_email_all_jd) [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Drum & Bass -
