This time around they delve back into the deep dubstep market with two fantastic original creations. First up, Cumbria's 'Somah' steps forward with wonk inspired work of magic, bearing the well deserved title 'Rollin Dub'. On the flip side we turn down a more dubstyle avenue, courtesy of JSM's weighty arrangement of 'King Of Kings'. As ever it's great to see dub music is well and truly alive and thriving with the UK underground scene!]( [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Muttley]( [Yam Yam]( [Southpoint]( [Bristol's own dubstep dynamo Muttley returns to the super consistent Southpoint brand for his debut solo EP with the label. Having featured on numerous releases and remixes previously for the Brighton based project, this one has been a long time coming. The title track is Muttley at his best, with emotive eastern-inspired instrumentation running riot over heavy 808 patterns. The same goes for 'Neiru' and 'Cuboid' which are both just as energetic with more explorative drum arrangements. Finally 'Yujin' rounds up the EP with a slightly quicker powerhouse like arrangement. On remix Duty, label co-founder KXVU steps forward with his colourful rework of 'Cuboid'.]( [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Siege Collective](Collective/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_17-12-04&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_new+this+week&utm_campaign=feat_email_dubstep_jd) [Siege Grime Compilation 001]( [Siege Collective](Collective/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_17-12-04&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_new+this+week&utm_campaign=feat_email_dubstep_jd) [Straight out of the west of the UK, Beanzo's own 'Siege Collective' have put together their second compilation release, featuring some of the most exciting names in grime music at this time. Having released a similar length project earlier this year focussing more on dubstep flavour, the Siege collective banner is keen to not be pigeon holed into one area. Consisting of 6 tracks, this project cover the grimey spectrum perfectly, from Beanzo's own grimey monster 'Nomad' to the wavey synths of Jakebob's 'Firing'. We also see fresh weight from Rajkay with 'Range', Tsundr's 'Test Your Might' and Mojoe's trappy roller 'Skylight'. This release even delves into devil mixes, courtesy of Swedger's fresh version of 'Big Lick'.]( [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [J Beatz](Beatz/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_17-12-04&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_new+this+week&utm_campaign=feat_email_dubstep_jd) [Stinjan]( [Crown Jules](Jules/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_17-12-04&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_new+this+week&utm_campaign=feat_email_dubstep_jd) [Vibed-out instrumentals from heavyweight grime flexer J Beatz. Five tracks deep, each one hits the spot: "Stinjan" gets down with a classic housey twang and groove so heavily swung it's almost broken beat or UK funky while "Gyal From Brum" continues the house theme with a deep swimming string hook that lilts with hypnosis. Deeper we travel for some serious turn-of-the-century assaults with "Hop scotch" and "Sket"; all snares, orchestral drama and brutal body bass, file for special occasions. Finally "Nutshell" closes the EP on a sultry R&B flex. Low-slung feels, smoking 808s and lavish strings. More fire than two whole series of The Apprentice.]( [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Zomby]( [Mercury's Rainbow]( [Modern Love](Love/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_17-12-04&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_new+this+week&utm_campaign=feat_email_dubstep_jd) [As one of the most innovative names in electronic dance music, Zomby returns to the front lines with his brand new album 'Mercury's Rainbow'. A fitting title we believe, as Zomby proceeds to weave electronic weirdness to all corners of the spectrum, incorporating a range of classic 8bit sounds, squarewave driven bass synths and unpredictable industrialized percussion. We hear serious grime influences throughout the whole project, especially in the bubbly synth melodies and percussive patterns on 'Whirlpool' and the devil-mix like sounds of 'Solar Ashes'. As a project in its entirety, it is truly mesmerizing, showing once again why Zomby is a name that needs to be held in seriously high esteem within electronic music.]( [Also new this week]( [View all]( Various [Vol 2]( [Indigo Movement](Movement/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_17-12-04&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_also+new+this+week&utm_campaign=feat_email_dubstep_jd) [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Leaf]( [Horns Dub]( [Badman Studios](Studios/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_17-12-04&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_also+new+this+week&utm_campaign=feat_email_dubstep_jd) [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Stephan Jacobs](Jacobs/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_17-12-04&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_also+new+this+week&utm_campaign=feat_email_dubstep_jd) / [Mudra]( [Flow/Fuego]( [Muti Music US](Music+US/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_17-12-04&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_also+new+this+week&utm_campaign=feat_email_dubstep_jd) [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Gwann]( [Pinole // From The Beginning]( [Gradient Audio](Audio/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_17-12-04&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_also+new+this+week&utm_campaign=feat_email_dubstep_jd) [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Dub Killer](Killer/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_17-12-04&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_also+new+this+week&utm_campaign=feat_email_dubstep_jd) [Behind The Reality EP]( [Subline Audio](Audio/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_17-12-04&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_also+new+this+week&utm_campaign=feat_email_dubstep_jd) [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Shiverz]( [Face It]( [Monsters Music](Music/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_17-12-04&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_also+new+this+week&utm_campaign=feat_email_dubstep_jd) [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Still hot]( [View all]( [Distance]( [Clash]( [Chestplate]( [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Jakes]( [R.O.T.K.]( [Hench]( [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [EPROM]( [Drone Warfare]( [1985 Music](Music/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_17-12-04&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_still+hot&utm_campaign=feat_email_dubstep_jd) [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( Various [UKF Dubstep 2017]( [UKF]( [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Sweepa]( [The Void EP]( [Version Collective](Collective/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_17-12-04&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_still+hot&utm_campaign=feat_email_dubstep_jd) [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( Various [15 Years Of Muti - Dubstep (Explicit)]( [Muti Music US](Music+US/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_17-12-04&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_still+hot&utm_campaign=feat_email_dubstep_jd) [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Featured artist: Distance]( [View all]( [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Distance]( [Long Live The Groove]( [Chestplate]( [Distance returns with a sentiment every single one of us can sign up to. He's not all chats, either; "Long Live The Groove" is a swaggering, sweaty slab of swinging bass music that develops momentum on every bar. Really juicy, funky stuff, there's a reason this has been kept on dub for so long. "Can You (Dub)" follows, and it's all about the drums. Fine-tuned and polished, there's a sense of liquid movement to the rhythm as strange designs and eerie cries drive deep into your ears. Finally we hit "Straight Up". The name says it all; a moody bass hook that doesn't quit, toxic subs and a weighty halftime drum arrangement... It's straight up badness, as you'd expect from the Chestplate bossman.]( [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Distance]( [Dynamis]( [Tectonic]( [When it comes to dubstep and its pioneers, people always drop the same names: Mala, Skream, Youngsta etc etc. But, there's another name that has been around since the FWD golden days. That name is Distance. Like many others who were involved in the scene's foundations, Distance has preferred to remain in the shadows, away from DJ booths, and firmly on his mixing board in the studio. If we're talking labels, he'd done 'em all - Hotflush, Planet Mu...the list goes on. Pinch's Tectonic feels like the perfect place to drop his new LP, especially because it strays way beyond the usual confinements of dubstep, and into whole new categories. From juke to bassline, and even techno, Dynamis is an album for lovers of the bass form. If that's your kink, this piece of work has got all the ingredients to satisfy your every need. Twisted basslines, haphazard beat flexes, and even some mashup lyricism. Sink your teeth, innit.]( [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Distance]( [Blue Meanie]( [Tectonic]( [Tectonic have enjoyed a nice Distance sandwich this year, having kicked off 2012 with his "Reboot" and now bringing it to a raucous climax with "Blue Meanie". Piston-pumping mechanisms gurgle and grumble under a clattering percussive half step with perverse funk, it's easily one of Distance's most uncompromising pieces to date. "Searching" plays the perfect foil to the bodywork of the lead cut; soothing but sprung with an eerie series of pensive pads, it's a creeper with a chilling twist.]( [Coming soon]( [View all]( [Frequency Dreams](Dreams/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_17-12-04&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_coming+soon&utm_campaign=feat_email_dubstep_jd) [Habitat EP]( [Version Collective](Collective/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_17-12-04&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_coming+soon&utm_campaign=feat_email_dubstep_jd) [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Imagine This](This/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_17-12-04&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_coming+soon&utm_campaign=feat_email_dubstep_jd) feat [King Kapisi](Kapisi/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_17-12-04&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_coming+soon&utm_campaign=feat_email_dubstep_jd) [Like A Game]( [Diffuse]( [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Thing]( [Ganja Dub / Money Dub]( [Dubthing]( [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Double Rukuz](Rukuz/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_17-12-04&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_coming+soon&utm_campaign=feat_email_dubstep_jd) [Double Rukuz]( [Bassclash]( [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [El Diablo](Diablo/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_17-12-04&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_coming+soon&utm_campaign=feat_email_dubstep_jd) [In The Shadows]( [Kwaioto]( [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Yakz]( [The Scary Door]( [Bewildered Productions](Productions/?utm_source=feat_email&utm_medium=feat_email_17-12-04&utm_term=feat_email_all_none&utm_content=feat_email_coming+soon&utm_campaign=feat_email_dubstep_jd) [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( Featured DJ charts [Mentha]( [October 2017 favourites]( [Ill K]( [****]( [Subaltern]( [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Helktram]( [Alter]( [Subaltern]( [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [D-Operation Drop]( [Fibers]( [Subaltern]( [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Shu/Zygos]( [Landfall]( [Subaltern]( [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [Dprtndrp]( [Hedera]( [Rarefied]( [Listen]( [Wishlist]( [Buy]( [GAZE ILL]( [Vol/ 35 - Aug-Sep-Oct. 2017]( [Karma]( [Cha]( [In
