We will fight to protect abortion access across New York state. [Jumaane for Governor of New York](#) {NAME}, Last night, leaked Supreme Court documents show the court is poised to end abortion rights, and this attack on unenumerated rights should be a wake up call to everyone that no one’s rights are safe from this court. We want to be very clear: Abortion is still legal. This callous and political attack on human rights poses a threat to women, pregnant and marginalized people everywhere. This draft decision is unprecedented in its context and showed us what we already knew: the conservative majority on the Supreme Court have utter disregard for people who need access to reproductive healthcare in this country and have no problem bowing down to the whims and desires of right-wing extremists and white nationalists. This is a draft, a report, it is not in effect. Abortion is still legal tonight. But we cannot wait, cannot hesitate, before fighting to preserve this right. They’ll continue to attack vulnerable communities, and we’ll stand in their way. In New York, we’ll fight to protect abortion access and continue to be a safe haven for women and all pregnant people. In a Williams/Archila administration we will: - Fund abortion outright similar to NYC Council - Create a Travel & Wellness Fund for people traveling to NY - Create one portal for abortion access for all NY providers - Shield those prosecuted by other states Tonight, join advocate and abortion rights supporters from all over New York at Foley Square at 5pm to take to the streets and show up for abortion justice! [Protect Roe v. Wade in Foley Square May 3rd at 5pm! Wear green] [If you can’t make it to Foley Square, but still want to support, we urge you to make a donation to the New York Abortion Access Fund, which helps anyone seeking abortion access in New York state.]( We will not go down without a fight.
